I think one of the best traits of a great coach (outside of knowledge/X’s & O’s) is setting a program standard and sticking to it. Aren’t afraid to lose a game to prove a point. Set a standard and hold everyone accountable. Best player or worst player.

POG in our battle against Perry was Madelynn Muniz she had a great game against a tough team. Defensively she held one of the top guards in the state to 6 points. Played the full 32 minutes and only had 1 turnover against a tough defensive team. Also added 9 pts, 3 reb and 2 stls

It’s really hard to get something done when you don’t want to do it. But if your mindset is “I’m built for a little discomfort & I’m willing to sacrifice for what I want”, then it’s not just a daily decision, it’s a long term mindset. Build it for a lifetime. Mindset is crucial.

Lady Jags take a heartbreaking loss against Perry. So proud of the way my players worked through adversity this year, a lot of bodies lost due to injuries and a very young squad trying to pick up the pieces and did a fantastic job. And to you seniors thank you for the ride.
