That stat says everything about how broken the discourse is, enforcement went from basic sovereignty to a partisan loyalty test, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement sits at ~80% approval with Republicans and basically zero with Democrats because one side still believes laws matter and the other treats enforcement like a moral sin, Hart Research didn’t invent that gap, it measured it, this isn’t about agents doing their jobs it’s about ideology eating common sense, you can argue policy all day but when 95% of one party rejects the very existence of enforcement you don’t have a debate you’ve got a reality split, and until leaders admit borders without enforcement are a joke this divide isn’t closing, it’s hardening.
