This is a fantastic change. Teachers no longer preparing fluff to “fill the time” or trying to “cover all the material”. Maybe this will lead to teachers actually picking up Teaching in the Savior’s Way and learning how to do it for real.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints@Ch_JesusChrist

In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world. Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule: • Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week. • Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods. • Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes. • Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes. • Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting. Yes. Absolutely zero question that the answer is yes. And the most obvious proof is Bruce Branch III committing to BYU. Dybantsa playing at BYU and having the season he had is going to pay so many long-term dividends for BYU even if the Saunders injury cratered this season.
Brian Drake@DrakeFantasy

BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa. He led the nation in scoring. Cool. They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury. They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC. Is that NIL $ well spent?

Future is bright. This season was basically over the second Ritchie went down. Hard for any team to lose 4 of their top 9 guys and stay competitive. Proud of the boys for continuing to show up, even if they didn’t quite show up the way we wanted today.

If you liked War Machine, not in an ironic i can’t stop watching this show because it’s so bad, but legitimately thought it was a good movie. You should feel bad about yourself

During the 8 seasons Rudy Gobert was Utah's starting center, the Jazz were 1st in defense and Minnesota was 30th. During the 4 years Gobert has been Minnesota's starting center, the Timberwolves are 3rd in defense and Utah is 30th. Gobert is also 1st all time in career TS% (with a TS% that's 11.3 points over the league average). And he's 1 of 3 players in NBA history with 4 Defensive Player of the Year wins. Rudy Gobert's career is underrated.

@jkimballcook @nihilists4jesus All the hospitality of Latin America with all the amenities of the US. We really were God’s elect. Drowning the sorrows of morning tracting with a junior bacon cheeseburger, then getting fed la bandera for dinner. Unbeatable.

@geoffjBYU I loved this hat they simplified the defense and just challenged the guys to compete. I think the scheme had them hesitating in previous games. Loved the approach to just let athletes be athletes. I am hopeful it’s repeatable

TTU started 14-21 from 3pt last night. They went 2-14 from 3pt the rest of the way. Reversion to the mean + BYU switching 1-5 (with Keba and Mboup being up to the task) did the job for the Cougs.

@Tjonesonthenba I mean, BYU only made the Sweet 16 twice before he was hired. Doing it in his first year feels like success to me. Hard to judge this year when 1/2 his rotation as he built it has been decimated by injuries. Not many teams can overcome losing 5 of their top 10 guys

We all know real team success when we see it. Not sure we need to specifically define it.
Brian@bdpeterson11

@Tjonesonthenba How are you defining team success in this context? He's got to make a Final Four?

@ToddLlewellyn Dude, I love Greek yogurt and I think plain Greek yogurt is disgusting. You can literally find Greek yogurt in a million flavors, and they are almost all delicious. Dannon light and fit is great, Oikos triple zero is also bomb. Plain Greek yogurt is an abomination.
