Jews are under three percent of the population of the US. This entire article is insane. Essentially saying that we appointed a black woman to the Supreme Court bc of woke
Tablet Magazine@tabletmag

A new @HarvardJews report finds Jewish enrollment at @Harvard is now 7%, roughly half what it was a decade ago and down from about 25% in the late 20th century. The trend isn’t confined to the Ivies, or even to academia. Across publishing, media, and cultural institutions, Jews are quietly disappearing from spaces they once helped build. For Tablet, Jacob Savage wrote about this systemic decline, unfolding quietly across America.

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun has the opportunity to become a historic leader and the savior of his country. He can ask to fly to Israel tomorrow, receive a diplomatic motorcade to Jerusalem, address the Knesset, and announce Lebanon’s intention to join the Abraham Accords. “My friends, Lebanon made a historic error in 1948 when it chose to join the Arab world’s war of annihilation against the Jewish state,“ he can say. “We have paid dearly, as first the Palestinians, then the Syrians, then the Iranians made our beautiful land a staging ground for their jihad against your country. “Hezbollah, the Iranian regime’s terrorist army, is our common enemy. Let us fight it together, as allies! I have just signed a presidential decree ending the state of war with Israel. Help us free Lebanon from the clutches of the Iranian regime. Together, the Israel Defense Forces and the Lebanese Armed Forces can mop up this parasitic force and forge a new day. “Imagine. By 2030, we reopen the historic railway line and connect Beirut to Beersheba. The villages of southern Lebanon will welcome Israelis on weekend breaks, and the people of Beirut will fly to Tel Aviv for a city break. You will visit our Roman ruins, and we will make pilgrimage to Jerusalem. “But for that, we must work together. I know you have reason to doubt our sincerity and commitment to dismantling Hezbollah. We had all of 2025 to do it, and we dropped the ball. But my presence here today, in your ancient capital, is the strongest expression of our commitment to work together as allies. “My friends, the King of Tyre helped to build this city in the days of the Israelite kingdom. Let us work together to build a new Middle East, and may our friendship soar as high as the cedars of Lebanon!” He could do that if he wanted. You think any Israeli leader would turn it down? He’d be a cult hero in Israel. President Aoun, come to Jerusalem. If you want peace, say it to our face. Do not expect us to let stall for time while our families are under fire from your land.

This is cringe. Just say "I oppose antisemitism, my wife is not an antisemite, I am not going to play this game of publicly scrutinizing my wife's social media activities or professional affiliations, I love her. Criticize me for anything you want, lay off my wife."
Josie Stratman@JosieStratman

Mayor Mamdani says his wife, Rama Duwaji, was not aware of anti-Israel posts (like calling some Israeli citizens “parasites”) from an author she illustrated an essay for. Mamdani calls that rhetoric “reprehensible” and says his wife booked the gig thru a 3rd party

@beacebrocess There are many way, way worse countries out there, but the normal course of action for other countries far away from them is not normally to never recognize them.

She wanted to make music 🙄
Healer@relaeh_

@PopBase Why is she surprised? She wanted to be famous and now since she has paparazzi outside, taking photos of her, she’s annoyed about it? This is what she’s gonna face as a celebrity. Hello?

Where does this go? Denying equal access to employment? Segregation? You understand what discrimination means right?
Draiden@DraidenForUtd

@beacebrocess You can discriminate against people based on the ideas they chose to hold. Chosing to worship a violent child rapist from 800 BC is a decision, and like any other decision people are free to criticize those who make it.

@SirLordElrond @NiceMangos Should we discriminate against Muslims or not? This isn’t abt criticizing Islam. Islamophobia refers to bigotry and discrimination against Muslims.

@beacebrocess @NiceMangos covers this thinking quite well with her excellent 'polite conversations' podcast, from someone on the left who used to think like that but has changed.
