@FJHalle@SecWar I mean, this isn’t new dude? Chaplains only started wearing rank around 1890-1900. Before that they only wore a cross. If anything this is going back to the chaplain core roots.
I cannot think of anything more demoralizing and disrespectful than forcing any commissioned officer, regardless of military operational specialty, to remove his or her lawful rank insignia from his uniform.
This will only make chaplains even more sidelined than they already are.
