I accepted not receiving my State Pension until I’m 67yrs instead of 60yrs because we were told the country couldn’t afford it, but it grates on me now when they have been able to find the money for unknown people that have rocked up on our shores who have never contributed a single penny. This is wrong & totally unfair.

Bit of a different one from me today. Living in deepest, darkest Devon… we’re usually a bit behind the times (we’ve only just got electricity down here 😂) so getting fibre has never really been an option. And standard internet has always been a nightmare. With BT I was getting around 10 to 12 Mbps on a good day. Streaming was hit and miss, downloads took forever. Switched over to Starlink last week and honestly it’s been a bit of a game changer. Now getting 100+ Mbps consistently, everything just works. Not something I usually post, but if you’re stuck with rubbish rural internet like I was, it might be worth a look. They’ve got a few discounted offers on at the moment too.
