@chrisgardenuk @Dominic2306 @freddie2284 @Perryguitar666 Covid is what impressed on me that the EU was truly bent on suicide by bureaucrat, to the bitter end, in the face of death. It's not clear the UK can or will do any better, but a desperate attempt to leave makes a lot more sense if your ex-spouse is in fact suicidal.

Our Government is NOT oriented to dashboards with long-term metrics for key priorities. It is literally run by *the PM listening to random news stories at 9am & blurting ideas*. I tried to axe this mtng a dozen times, all failed. If ppl saw this mtng they'd sell everything & flee

Lest we forget. Excellent thread from @lloydhardy which would alarm anyone about the motives+integrity of a serving MP,let alone Home Secretary. Add her serial record of bullying across many departments & leading to one female staff member taking an overdose & she needs to go! 🧐

It’s time for news you’ve heard before, but it’s no less frustrating: Home Secretary, Priti Patel, is resisting issuing extra visas to help the country with any issue of food or fuel shortages.

You cannot* simultaneously argue that Brexit has restricted firms'access to cheap EU labour and will therefore lead to better pay in certain sectors AND current labour shortages have nothing to do with restricting access to EU labour * Actually you can, but you sound ridiculous
