@yingdark @briALTcookiebox Honestly my biggest complaint about the state of the game is that the farming is comprehensive but not fun. It doesn't synergise with the dungeon content. Like instead of farming your equipment and supplies you just kinda loot or buy them from vendors always. Missed opportunity

@KneeKappa @briALTcookiebox There's some really good ones out there now, especially focused on the farming mechanics (CM turned into more of an RPG/story-driven dungeon romp). Breeders of the Nephelym is maybe one of the most advanced - and it's free.

@Selvira1128 @briALTcookiebox Cloud Meadow's development is a slow disaster, but at least we're not squatting on another game's IP to shoo out a sequel with fully generated AI text and images. Last updated 2024. We're aiming to finish CM v1.0 by the end of this year and put the nightmare to rest.

@briALTcookiebox So it's NOT Cloud Meadow. XD It's an adult game where you breed [with] monsters, farm, do dungeons, and other stuff. Came about from the DISASTEROUS downfall of a game called Breeding Season. Which I just learned the OG dude is remaking. Using AI art. Fun.

@BeniDoki @briALTcookiebox Yeah we understand. For a game with farming at the core of it's identity - and a lot of development time sunk into it - the gameplay is weak. The team have spent years debating how to fix it, but at this late stage in development there are no current plans to do so.

@777theultra @briALTcookiebox Real and true - one of our most dedicated fans is a modder who painstakingly decompiles our game, merges it with their own maintained code and hand-translates all the new content for the Chinese language audience.

@briALTcookiebox If you want to be in a community that won't judge you for wanting gameplay in your porn, the Chinese-speaking community seems to be oddly serious about the gameplay and "usability" of these games and the way they balance out.
