@beardeddutchy Really? From what I’ve seen, communication is HUGE. communication leads to a deeper understanding of desire. What good is honesty about desire without communicating it?

Many “dead bedrooms” occur b/c both people are shackled by the shame of having sexual desires with heavy themes of power & control. The key to each of their satisfaction is held by the other, but they will never unlock it & never actualize their potential. It’s sad.

@MTradTaboo My assumption would be that communication wouldn't be the big issue.a dead bedroom doesn't happen over night. And ussually lasts long, but they stay in the relationship. So communication might not be it. But perhaps honesty about desires.amongst a world of other things.

@beardeddutchy Each couple will be very different & there really isn’t a “one-size fits most” answer. I will say this usually stems from being unwilling to have the challenging & uncomfortable conversations. Avoiding anything that feels like conflict is usually what keeps people stuck.
