Are you selling apps on App Store and unsure if you qualify as a "trader" or "non-trader" in terms of the EU Digital Services Act? You're most likely a trader. A non-trader is someone doing it as a hobby, 100% free, and no commercial interest at all.

@beardybird That’s relatively easy to do with the test automation tools in iOS SDK, Android, Flutter, etc, but I haven’t seen tools like that in any of the game engines I’ve used. Nice job!

@WesleyTE Yep, built a few simplish tools to help with screenshotting the correct formats in all locales. Otherwise that would be way too tedious for us.

@beardybird Ahh yeah, localization would make it a much bigger pain. Do you have tooling to navigate through the app/game in different languages/devices to the places where you’d need to take those screenshots/videos? That feels like the real heavy lift here.

@WesleyTE It’s more of a problem over time rather than often, when it happens it’s painful for all languages and formats, especially if video is involved as well. So thinking we should include a tool for it in our process.

Went for a run today, saw a raven sitting on a bunker in a snowy heath, overlooking the chilled archipelago of Gothenburg, engulfed in a burning sunset. No wind, no other people, just the croak of a raven. Reality is pretty lit.
