Site visit today to The Joshua Tree, a @sovereignha run temporary housing scheme providing accommodation for homeless families and individuals. We are looking to transform these two bare outdoor spaces into relaxing and inspiring green havens.

@beardygardener Depends where you go. We took our grandson to a local pumpkin patch last week where you are given a wheelbarrow to roam several acres of field to choose and pick your own. Our problem was stopping him picking them all!

I’ve just learned that ‘pumpkin picking’ is nothing of the sort. Picking one up that’s been dumped there randomly (and isn’t connected to a plant) doesn’t teach kids where there food comes from or how plants work.

My Giving Garden at @FestivalPlace is now a year old 🥳 It has blossomed into a vibrant space outside of the main shopping centre doors, where people can come together for a moment of calm and reflection. #communitygarden #urbangarden #gardeningforwellbeing

Encouraging wildlife to your garden doesn't have to take up lots of time and effort. This beetle bank is an easy way to create a fantastic, low maintenance habitat for invertebrates using topsoil and grass seed or wildflower seeds! 🐞 🦗 🌼
