It got deleted because of the caption, it had too many trigger words for the AI flagging system

I currently minify the HTML on my site. But it looks like it's less than 5% improvement assuming gzip encoding. If I stop minifying, it would make "View Source" readable. Thoughts?

@HuionTab Most important is the grip, basically every possible grip you can use with graphic tablet pen are grips that a traditional artist would advice you not to use. Wider tilt range and more flexible grip are necessary for something to feel more traditional.

@matiasgoldberg That's an interesting reward function. It's basically training multi turn conversations, but without requiring multi turn conversation training data.

LLM training is missing the experience axis. Training phase should include an LLM connected to a VM trying to follow its own instructions (how to compile code, how to change settings on Windows, etc). Experience is how we question the bullshit we read.

@notch 0 is more elegant though. How often do you initialize memory to all 0s? All, the, time. How often do you initialize memory to all 1s? Never.

So what's your favorite bit and why is it so obviously 1 you didn't even have to think about it?

"false" does not mean nothing or null. It represents a tangible measure operating in the opposite direction of "true" "zero" does not mean nothing or null. It represents a value below the minimum resolution.

@debreuil I hope someone is developing an AI that can one shot this. It seems like a really useful thing. What NotebookLM is doing seems more like coding and guessing positions and colors, which is not quite it. But surprising it is quite good at reading those notes!

@beast_pixels wow, very cool it got that one. It doesn't always get it exact (and my drawings often have issues), but they come out editable. I use CorelDraw fwiw. Batch styling the results works great too. I'm really impressed how well it did your sketch though, color and all :)

Dang this works so good. I have nearly 20 notebooks of notes and math diagrams from the last 10 years, need to get an auto scanner.

@debreuil Though, it does seem to struggle with anything slightly more complex. I am surprised your initial example worked!

"Scientists expected the opposite, but polar bears in the Norwegian Arctic archipelago of Svalbard have become fatter and healthier since the early 1990s, all while sea ice has steadily declined due to climate change...Walruses have been officially protected in Norway since the 1950s, after they were hunted to near extinction. That protection has boosted their numbers, and apparently provided a new source of fatty food for polar bears."

I remembered this ancient 007 painting I did while I was in grad school in (I think) 2013. I'm not totally ashamed of this in hindsight. Has some nice elements to it.

Hilarious to see people’s reactions when I tell them Discord is the biggest anomaly in IT / Software Development… yes, there have been other shitty apps that have been successful… but never has there been another app so horrendously written and developed, with such blatant anti-consumer design choices, make it to this level of success. It’s blanketed across so many people’s PCs (and other devices) and it’s literally one of the worst apps (in terms of performance, privacy, user-focus and priority, optimization, etc., etc.) that I’ve ever seen.

My dear @discord, your app will boost it's priority to real time and it will cause high frametime fluctuations in CS2. Forcing it's priority to always normal with process lasso, will drop the frametime to normal values.

@noahbradley @hart_led There is also some exponential part to it. Shilling 2x can be a 10x improvement, but so can Doing 2x.
