When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant...when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years. - M. Twain

@mcuban Problem isn't often the answer, but the question. These tools already know everything. It's the questions one asks that configures the response.

I’m coming to the conclusion that the biggest challenge for Enterprise AI, and AI in general , as of now, is that it’s still impossible to make sure that everyone gets the same answer to the same question, every time. Which is a great response to the doomers. AI doesn’t know the consequences of its output. Judgement and the ability to challenge AI output is becoming increasingly necessary, and valuable. Which makes domain knowledge more valuable by the second. Am I wrong ?

👀 A message for @CandyDigital fans…👇 Tomorrow we open the “interim Candy.io” website for existing account holders only. We created this view-only site to enable our existing fans to see their collections and account balances right away rather than ask them to wait until May for the relaunched Candy.io.💪 Existing Candy.io fans will be able to login with their email address and password to see their assets. If there are questions or issues that require our attention, please email fan-help@candy.io for help‼️ We are thrilled to announce some “Easter Candy” to loyal fans by enabling them to convert their existing account balances into credits with a 100% bonus for use on the platform relaunched in May‼️💰🔥💪 For those fans who have already requested cash withdrawals, we will begin honoring those this week, once they reconfirm they want cash and not the 100% bonus credit. 👍 Turning to the future of Candy.io… 1) we hope to close the acquisition in the next week or so to establish the legal foundation of everything we are building together.🤞 2) we have tentatively selected a secure, user-friendly, inexpensive, royalty-compliant, mainstream blockchain for the millions of digital assets belonging to our fans so that self-custody and security will be real beginning as soon as May.🤫 3) 👀 we will also announce changes to the Candy.io “collectible economy” by May. The changes will sharply reduce any supply overhang of assets plus enhance the scarcity and utility of what fans own. ‘Up and to the right’ remains a key goal for our fans. 📈 4) we remain committed to a world of desirable, innovative treasures for our fans to collect with user-friendly auctions and markets plus a gamified fun platform on which to acquire them.🚀🚀🚀 Thanks again to our fans for their patience and loyalty to Candy.io!🙏🙏🙏🫡

👀 On Friday I doubled down on my commitment to digital collectibles by agreeing to acquire most of the assets of @CandyDigital (Candy.io). When the transaction closes in a week or two, I will also serve as CEO. 💪 My view is that the sustained value of digital collectibles of all kinds requires transparency, security, liquidity, scarcity, and desirability. Candy.io intends to provide all five of those benefits for past and future fans. Agentic and #AI commerce will cause velocity and value to soar where crypto rails make transactions easy and clear digital ownership and rock solid authenticity exist. 🔥 Candy.io will operate by a few simple values on my watch: the Golden Rule for all involved; respect for licensor brands and artists; relentless focus on fan experience; frequent communication often from me.💪 My email address is tad.smith@candy.io for those who want to reach me directly. Please follow @CandyDigital as well for more communication. Our site has been in maintenance mode — frustrating (I know!) — but our many fans are about to have their patience rewarded.🙏 More details on the platform, relaunch, and some dazzling new collectibles and #NFTs you can’t get anywhere else are coming as soon as we close the deal. 👍 We’re not starting over on Candy.io. We’re picking up something extraordinary and making it better. 📈🔥🚀‼️ Please join me to write the next chapter of Candy.io. 🫡

@SamexCat I guess what I am saying is the offense already knows the count and the play. The defense should have a fair way to set up a response to the situation presnap. It's shitty either way, but I guess I understand the reasoning for the current rule structure.

@beastmodedad Let's say it wasn't a field goal situation a defense could use it to see the formation of the offense and depending on if they like the formation the offense sets up in they can make a call i think that gives the defense a strong advantage

That should be against the rules to decline a penalty and then you see the offense going for it then you change it to accepting the penalty. #NewRule #Rams #Eagles #NFL

BREAKING: VeVe’s Chief Technology Officer quits, blames company for “structural issues” ➡️ Says VeVe’s community is its strongest asset ➡️ Says Dr. Profit “is the only person I have met with a clear vision for OMI” ➡️ About VeVe: “There are some important jobs to be done to realize its true potential” Nestor Sanchez, VeVe’s CTO, has left the company while indicating that structural issues are the reason for the its unrealized potential. On a Twitter post announcing his departure he says: “Unfortunately a lot of potential has also gone unrealized due to structural issues. The opportunity at hand for the company remains intact but there are some important jobs to be done to realize its true potential.” He also responded to several comments in the post. Particularly, he said that Dr. Profit, who is a top collector on the VeVe platform, “is the only person I have met with a clear vision for OMI”. The app has been bogged down by technical issues since its inception. And the person responsible for overseeing technical aspect of the app is presumably its CTO. What remains unknown is if Nestor was hindered by the company’s leadership or if other limitations were the problem. We may never know the exact reason Nestor has left the company, but it doesn’t seem like he left on good terms. And without hearing from the other side, who knows what the real motivation for the announcement was. Only the future will tell if this move will benefit the company.

@Charles84049744 There will always be another better cooler collectable. If the team starts issuing more AF15s, that would be a big problem. I'm sure the team knows this. Comics for me.

If you could pick a team... would you be Team Collectibles or Team Comics? Which one are you more bullish on and why? I have more comics than Collectibles (Better MCP for the 💎) but I'm more bullish on Collectables. #VeVe #vevefam

@SergioCollects I think it is a mistake and they should refrain from doing so. If they do, they should never print the original.

Can there be two digital versions of the same comic? We will find out Wednesday. This Wednesday, March 20, Marvel Comics will re-release Wolverine #1, originally published in 1988, as a “facsimile edition”. This is nothing new in physical comics. Every grail comic you can think of has been re-released as a facsimile edition. But when it comes to digital collectible comics, this is uncharted territory. So, here is where things will get interesting. Wolverine #1 is a key comic book and will likely drop as a standard comic drop on the VeVe app at some point in the future, probably retailing for the familiar $10 and a supply of 7,500. Last week, Veve and Marvel announced that all of their new comics will simultaneously be released as physicals at your local comic bookshops, and in digital format via the new VeVe Comics website every Wednesday. But… it just so happens that Wolverine #1 facsimile edition will be a new release. Notice that it is labeled “facsimile edition”. So if they use that same label on the VeVe Comics drop this Wednesday, we will know that there is indeed a distinction when it comes to comics in digital format. The reason why this matters is because physical comic book collectors often downplay the importance of comics in digital format, and dismiss them as facsimiles, and not originals. To recap… In essence, we would foreseeably have two digital versions of Wolverine #1 on Veve: the “facsimile edition” dropping this Wednesday, and the standard “original” edition at some point in the future. If so, that will put to rest the idea that previous digital collectible comic book drops on VeVe, such as Amazing Fantasy #15 and Avengers #1, are simply facsimiles, but instead are actually originals. So grab some popcorn and get ready for Wednesday. Because if they drop the “facsimile edition” of Wolverine #1 on the new Veve Comics platform in conjunction with the physical version at local comic book stores, it’ll be indisputable confirmation that the key comics we already own on Veve aren’t facsimiles, but rather, are originals in digital format.🍿
