There are certain OG pieces on VeVe that carry undeniable “FU money” status and bragging rights... Donny, HQ 19, Risso, Mooglie, and others. Right now, those names mean something because the current community understands the history, scarcity, and culture behind them. But if VeVe ever truly goes mainstream, the market dynamics could shift massively. Unless the same influencers and early adopters continue to shape the culture, newer collectors may care less about what OGs value today and gravitate more toward globally recognizable IP with similar scarcity levels. A hardcore VeVe collector might value an early artist piece today, while the average future user could be more emotionally attached to a rare Spider-Man, Darth Vader, or Disney grail simply because the fandom is exponentially larger. That’s why I think the biggest movers in a mass-adoption scenario will be the collectibles that combine both scarcity and mainstream popularity (we all know this). There’s definitely an argument for “first-ever” status and historical significance and some OG pieces will always hold prestige because of that. But I also think there are probably tons of collectibles on VeVe right now that are completely overlooked because they launched at the wrong time, lacked hype, or didn’t have a massive fandom attached to them yet. If this space really explodes, I think perceptions of value change dramatically. A lot of what people dismiss today could suddenly become highly sought after once millions of new eyes enter the ecosystem and start valuing things through an entirely different lens.

We have not posted bounties for every drop and always pay out when the owner accepts. As long as we claim before the deadline, and it has not been listed above our bounty price in the marketplace, the bounty remains valid. Also, all of our bounty’s were turned down this month including the Millenium Falcon, Yoda, and The Incredible Hulk 340. Very cool to see such high conviction in this community! 👏👏👏
