Hot take that really shouldn’t be Starting any ad with a ‘question hook’ like “have you tried to get rid of that stubborn belly fat but just can’t seem to shift it no matter what you do?” Is lazy, uncreative and just about the worst way to start a video. It immediately feels like a sell and puts people off. Just write like you would actually talk to another person. You’d never start a conversation like that in real life. You’d be far better just starting straight into a story, ideally setting off by opening a ‘mental loop’ and a promise of a payoff at the end Something like “I’m not proud of this but I’m gonna tell you anyway (opens the loop, gives promise of payoff) I used to tell my boyfriend I had a phobia of water just so that we would never have go to the beach or pool, although it was really just because I didn’t want to have to wear swimwear in public. I honestly just hated my body and being exposed like that just made me feel disgusting….. Then continue story about how she decided to take action, turned it around and found that ‘x’ product was a lifesaver etc So much better and engaging yet all I see on my in my feed is “Tired of X?, “Is X thing slowing you down?” Etc The bar is honestly just so low

Quantity selectors on PDPs do not improve AOV. They actually hurt AOV and decrease revenue. We’ve tested this across a dozen brands and analyzed millions of heatmap sessions. - Almost no one clicks them. - Customers adjust quantity in the cart. - Keeping them is wasted space.

Year has been a dumpster fire so far ❌ banned on Meta for zero reason ❌ thousands of orders with missing tracking due to fulfillment mess up ❌ caused chargebacks through the roof, trust pilot through the floor ❌ caused payment holds like I’ve never seen before ❌ home state of California on fire ❌ new brand unable to run ads ✅ it’s stressful now but I know we’ll only come out stronger / smarter ✅ focusing on CRO, new payment processors and creative strategy until this storm blows over.. and of course getting meta assets back can’t believe the lack of clarity with platforms we spend millions of dollars on all this to say… BRB 👨‍🚒🔥💧
