@beatchmusic @exxsterr Social construct just means made up. I dont care if people want to castrate themselves and wear the opposite sexes clothing. I just want them to be at least 18, pay for it themselves, and not involve anyone else in their issues. I dont think that's too hard is it?

@xFmrAgentSmithx @exxsterr Correct! Gender doesn't exist in nature: it's a social construct. You're learning! No idea what Marxism has to do with this, but your goal is clearly rooted in controlling and eliminating trans people. But they exist, and they always will, regardless of your opinions.

@beatchmusic @exxsterr Same sex attraction exists in nature, gender does not. Unlike marxists, I have no goal. People can pretend to be whatever, wear whatever clothes they want. They dont get to demand other people indulge in that fantasy too. Which includes, washrooms, athletics, attraction, etc.

@xFmrAgentSmithx @mlstepanic This is such a tired argument. Professional athletics is built on biological advantages - if people are performing at that level, they have a body that makes it possible. And one last time: it doesn't matter what either of us think because we're not athletes. 🤷‍♂️

@beatchmusic @mlstepanic Larger bones, thicker skulls, smaller hips, larger muscles to accomodate the larger bones, taller.....no physical advantages at all. No women pretending to be men should still compete against women for obvious reasons. And they shouldn't be taking T either......obvious.

@xFmrAgentSmithx @exxsterr I'm sure plenty of anti-gay folks see same-sex attraction as ideological too. The fight for trans rights supports all sexualities and all genders. If your goal is to be seen as "normal" and "just like straight people"... I don't want to be merely tolerated for fitting in a box.

@beatchmusic @exxsterr There is also no such thing as "queer". LGB is certainly not stronger with TQ, because you are ideological and not logical. Everything TQ is currently arguing for hurts LGB people. LGB is about attraction to the SAME SEX. That is it, everything else is nonsense.

@xFmrAgentSmithx @mlstepanic Trans women on hormone therapy have no physical advantage. If you're so focused on "women's bodies", would you rather have trans men competing on the women's team? And yet again, we're not athletes, so why does it matter?

@xFmrAgentSmithx @exxsterr Not avoiding the question, I just don't understand it. As a cis man, I've rarely felt unwelcome or unsafe, so why would I need my own space? Gay men certainly don't - queer spaces are built on inclusion and we're stronger together.

And I'm not interested in what you "think" the science says - you're not a doctor, and the women Matthew confronted weren't professional athletes. You choose to spread fear because it's something you don't understand.

@beatchmusic @mlstepanic Matthew overhead a conversation he wasnt part of, and was like "excuse me, I just wanted you to know that you are bigots...." I just dont think "gender affirming care" is backed up by science. It is however backed up by surgeons looking to make money.

@xFmrAgentSmithx @mlstepanic You posted a graphic about churches. If you're not religious, why was that the message you wanted to send? In any case, nobody is being forced to transition. Bodily autonomy is about having control over your own body - you seem to be more interested in controlling others.

@beatchmusic @mlstepanic I'm not religious; assuming he was a real person I would imagine he would welcome them in, make them a coffee and a sandwich. Do you think he would tell them that their body is indeed wrong and they should pay surgeons to remove their breasts and testicles?

Why is Canadian Heritage funding projects that take pot-shots at females concerned about protecting their own spaces and sports? Why are MY tax dollars funding it? People who would destroy my daughter’s opportunities in life so that theirs can be better?

This is your business, correct? So, you rely on smearing gender-critical females visiting other establishments to boost your own business so that you can continue to receive grants? Classy.

@jonkay Yes, and? It's a real book - and a great one at that. Matthew is a truly gifted poet, and I've had the pleasure of setting a dozen of his poems to music. If you choose to start grasping at straws, you need to pick better straws.
