@Prairielily22 Can't wait to see the inside. Then I can figure out a housewarming present ;)

I am so excited right now. I just signed all the papers for my new (to me anyways) house. Buying a house has been my major goal for a long time and now its hard to believe that it's finally happening. I owned a house in Manitoba for 3 years when I was in my 20s, which I sold to move back home to Saskatchewan and a series of unfortunate events kept me renting or living with my mom the last 14 years. My kids are excited too; the idea of having something permanant to call our home makes me feel like something is finally actually going my way for once.

@PremierScottMoe That was a bs political issue decades ago. Carbon is good for plant life, get with the times.

Saskatchewan is leading the way in lowering greenhouse gas emissions from the oil and gas sector!
According to the 2024 Oil and Gas Emissions Management Regulations Annual Report, emissions from venting and flaring are down 71% since 2015, surpassing the province’s 2025 reduction goal a year early.
That’s like taking 1.7 million cars off the road for a year!
Through smart regulation, innovation, and investment, Saskatchewan is showing how responsible resource development can drive real progress in lowering GHG emissions.

@PremierScottMoe Complain about Supply Management if you want to complain about tariffs. Maybe our government should consider the consumers instead of trying to fix markets for votes and consumers wouldn't receive this blowback!

While Saskatchewan is disappointed in the Trump administration’s decision to increase tariffs on non-CUSMA compliant Canadian goods to 35%, Canada’s efforts to ensure CUSMA remains in effect means that 95% of Saskatchewan exports to the US will remain tariff-free.
CUSMA remaining in effect is very significant as we now live in a relative world on trade, in that the US has imposed across the board tariffs on many countries while the vast majority of Canadian exports to the US remain tariff-free.
While the US tariffs on Canadian exports like steel, copper and forestry are harmful, Canadian exports that remain tariff-free now have a competitive advantage relative to other countries that face tariffs on those same products.
Saskatchewan continues to experience strong economic growth, the strongest rate of job creation and the lowest unemployment rate in Canada.
Our government will continue to engage with US businesses and lawmakers to improve our trade relationship, while continuing to expand our export markets to over 160 countries around the world that buy Saskatchewan products.
From the outset, we have maintained that the Trump tariffs will cause significant harm to the US economy, businesses, workers and consumers and we are now seeing those effects.
Today, new figures were released showing that job growth slowed significantly in the US in May, June and July, largely due to the uncertainty and higher costs caused by US tariff policies.
Canada should refrain from any retaliatory measures that would cause similar harm to our own economy.
Saskatchewan will also continue to press the federal government to strengthen the Saskatchewan and Canadian economies by adopting our “Strong Saskatchewan, Strong Canada Plan” to approve needed economic infrastructure projects like pipelines and rail lines and eliminate federal regulations that prevent economic development like the Oil and Gas Emissions Cap and the Clean Electricity Standard.
There is much more that Canada can do to control our own economic destiny, but the federal government must remove barriers to growth in order to make that happen.

@middle_class_us Lmfao your generation is so weak. I thought my generation was weak and then we met you guys and now I'm feeling like we shouldn't have had so much humility...and meanwhile you all are demanding pity.
It's really sad.

@schmidt_zach Those poor bears will all get tummy aches from all the spicy food.
English

@GavinNewsom Why do I get spam messages from dirtbags like this guy. Is there a way to block these? I sure don't follow him, and the loser doesn't deserve to hold office.
English

Dude, you’re so corrupt you were put on trial for impeachment, were under indictment, faced a federal investigation for bribery, were forced to do community service, and had to pay restitution. Would sit this one out.
Attorney General Ken Paxton@KenPaxtonTX
Can you believe it? The Governor who celebrated with celebrities while imposing lockdowns on everyday citizens is now puzzled about politicians being held accountable. In California, it seems lawlessness only gets addressed when President Trump steps in to save the day, but here in Texas, we protect our citzens and uphold the law. You should try it sometime, Gavin.

@buperac I've gone through a heart issue in Canada. The initial part happened quick and the service provided was excellent. It's the long follow up with delays that has caused all the issues. Fortunately for that I found a private option, just wish I knew about it 7 months earlier.

My step-father just had a heart attack at 2am this morning, went in late night with chest pains, no waiting and got the best medical treatment available, monitored 24/7 and is now getting a cardiac catheterization. Cost was $0.
They live in Tennessee, pay $181 a month in insurance, if this happened to him in Canada, he would have died.

Unbelievable ; Imagine spending 4 hours in a hospital in the USA and getting billed 58k 🤯 No thanks ..... Be grateful we live in 🇨🇦 where healthcare doesn't put you in the poor house!

@Nero Nooooo Milo. That sounded like you are walking into the desert with no water or plan to ever return.
English

@kirawontmiss If you wonder why the restaurant you work at is dead every night or has gone out of business I would say it's one of these 3 reasons
1)Bad food
2)Bad service
3)Overpriced
Unrealistic tipping demands account for 2 of these things.

@wabbitwarrior Agreed GTA, Quebec...and let's wait until he softens up the cities a bit first either way.

@ThrillaRilla369 In all seriousness announce to her that the family has gone carnivore and since she doesn't pay the bills she can figure things out given the food options now available. Parents need to stop letting kids make adult choices.
English

@ThrillaRilla369 Drive her to the woods and start over with the lessons you learned.
