@moritakusan @Timebound_Timmy I mean...if I were in Japan I would do what's expected of me to respect your values and culture. If you were to come over here, just know that if someone invites you to their home for dinner or to hang out, is not a big deal...it's a fairly normal occurrence.

@ayashiikick @moritakusan For us it's a matter of familiarity...it's a comfortable setting for friends to bond. We don't have the same space issues you seem to have in Japan...and we're quite happy to have friends over to entertain.

My daughter comes over my place at least once a week. I have friends come over for dinner and to watch a movie.
