I’m not sure how much longer Americans are going to handle rising prices… I can say with certainty that:
My gasoline bill has doubled
My electrical bill increased significantly
Rent still hasn’t come down/stabilized
Interest rates are still sky-high
Meat/groceries are unaffordable
Health insurance premiums rising again
Home prices are outrageous & rising
Car prices are still outrageous and rising
And the wild part is that nobody seems to be doing anything to fix a single problem…

@Slypador I still think red is objectively rational but in the scenario, non-rational actors (babies, disabled people, etc) are included. So I don't think it's fair to call it the suicide button if a parent or friend chooses blue to increase the chance of saving a non-rational actor.

If it only included rational actors that would make a blue consensus very improbable and needless. I dont see a reason to press blue in that case.

But all of the risk arises from blue pressing, fundamentally. Red contributes risk to blues only after that fact. Would you change your press if it only included rational actors?

We have to press it because people make an irrational choice, doesn't that mean red is the rational choice?
