@Manu_Spurs21 @looflol Tour without Jonas would be more boring than without Pogacar. The gaps would be even bigger. Just remember Giro 2024. Masterpiece of boredom.

@looflol You mean vingegaard? Without tadej the Tour would be 3x more bored. The fishermonger would win easy without any kind of carism or aura At least the duel Pogacar-MdVP is fun to watch.

If you make living off cycling in a non sporting capacity how can you support pogacar? If he continues like he has been the viewer numbers of the sport will just drop even more than they already are, and you will be unemployed in 2 years

@dustin_sch42074 @looflol Viewing numbers in cycling decreased the last 24 months, corresponding with Pogacars dominance. Tv and streaming services like competition, this is what kept people in front of tv til 2023.

@looflol False. Viewer numbers always go up when there is one dominant individual or team that is multi generational. Michael Jordan New England Patriots (Tom Brady) Muhammed Ali Tiger Woods Michael Phelps Pele Usain Bolt Pogacar We gravitate toward watching historical dominance

@HilaireBerben @vismaleaseabike Even on highest level you should be happy to reach the best possible result: Lipowitz=3rd in Dauphine, Jonas=2nd in TDF, Martinez=2nd in Giro. Pogacar is not only unbeatable these days, everybody should be happy to become 2nd behind him and beat the rest of the peloton.

@DeLaPaff @NairoInGreen It is not Pogacar that found out it is Javier Sola. He has unlimited acces to arabian oil money to fund his medical research for team UAE. There is nothing comparable

@NairoInGreen Sorry but if Pogacar is doping then all the others are too. It's impossible that Pog just found out a doping method that the most advanced anti doping system in the world can't detect and that no other rider has access to. Super dumb to put the heat only on him.

I have no clue why you would think the by far most dominant rider ever being managed by the men behind Saunier-Duval could possibly be questioned.

@Thee_Real_lubbi @Tratnikstan These riders need 4-6 weeks to reach their former level. The problem was, that he didn't have enough time to add enough plus. So he was at his best, but maybe might have been better with no break in his training.

@tomdanielson Thank you, I also see Jorgenson nearly Jonas level. So the TDF outcome for UAE will rely on Almeidas performance. If he is in the expected great shape, Pogacar must win. If not Visma has a great 1-2 chance and it can be interesting.

Matteo Jorgenson looks to be at an incredible level here, and he would have been closer to Jonas at the finish if he hadn’t played the teammate card sitting on Remco’s wheel while chasing. His time trial and climbing are very close to Jonas’ here. I think he’s going to be a massive contender for the TDF podium—and quite possibly for the Visma TDF victory. Also, it was so great to see Sepp up there at the front. I’m looking forward to him joining the party on the final climbs soon.

My Thoughts on Dauphiné Stage 6 The Ludicrous Speed Project.
Tadej is an absolute innovator, and I think today we saw a glimpse into his new 2025 signature performance. 2024 was the long bomb and the new climbing VAM. This year, it seems the ludicrous speed leadout straight into the never-been-done-before threshold climbing VAM is the first of his collection. The classics campaign now aligns well with his project, as he worked on and achieved MDVP-level 2–5-minute explosive power, used to win the biggest classics on short, steep climbs and cobbled sectors. He achieved a power for this duration, seated, so high that he could match—and even drop—the best of the best power riders.

@peder134 Dropping? Even MvdP or M Matthew can drop Sepp Kuss with a mountain sprint. Are they better climbers than him? No, they will never rrach the top ahead of him. Same today with Narvaez, who can do extreme mountain sprints

Jonas Vingegaard lost 1:01 to Pogacar on Combloux! He has to improve A LOT in order to stand a chance against him in TDF. #Dauphine

@peder134 Jorgenson, Kuss and even Tulett finished far ahead of them. Of course you drop everybody if you do a mountain sprint for a short time. Even EF did that in Giro/Finestre with UAE. Would you say EF was the best team in the Giro although UAE riders finished far ahead of them???

@peder134 Even their 4th best rider was better than UAEs 2nd best. They easily isolated Pog at penultimate climb. They are leading the team ranking with 10 mins gap. Without Pogacar we wouldn't even talk about UAE today.

@aecarlosae @faustocoppi60 Yeah, and I think nobody wants another Pogacar. They even want this Pogacar away to have some competition in this sport that we love. But as it seem, even the biggest race in the world will be won without competition like last year.

⏱️ Tadej Pogacar climbed today Combloux (8,8 km@6,9%) in 19 min 46 sec, at 26.73 km/h average speed. 🚀 Thermonuclear performance, likely one of the best 20-min efforts of all-time. The scary thing is that he will be even faster in TDF... #Dauphine
