Wyoming family ranch crafting 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef. No feedlots, no mRNA—pure, tender meat shipped fresh. Shop: https://t.co/T203Qmv0pZ #GrassFed

If you get meat delivery, you're probably buying it shipped halfway across the World. ButcherBox positions themselves as a premium American meat delivery service and positioning its brand around trust and transparency. Yet they source nearly all of their beef from Australia. Their flagship product is grass-fed, grass-finished beef. They do roughly $600M/year: sourcing meat from across the World rather than supporting small American farmers. It’s exactly why labels can be so frustrating, with health conscious consumers buying 100% grass-fed beef straight to their door unknowingly withdrawing from local food systems. Overall, they have reached such a magnitude that they possibly couldn’t even really switch to US grass-fed considering only about 2–4% of our beef production is truly grass‑fed and grass‑finished. But there is no reason for us to buy beef from the companies who “scaled” to be the largest. Everyone could be eating from small, local family farms regional to them.
