So glad I came back again for @becomingnancy @BirminghamRep Loving it even more this time. Finding it very emotional tbh. As a gay teenager in the 70s I can fully relate. And #KateBush saved me.

⭐ BECOMING NANCY - BIRMINGHAM REP ⭐ What a wonderful & charming show 🥰 I've been excited for this one, for a very long 😁 The show is full of fantastic performances, led by the brilliant Joseph Peacock and Joseph Vella as David and Maxie, who infuse every scene together with a genuine sweetness 💖 Paige Peddie as best friend Frances, gave me life during her Donna Summer disco number ✨ Rebecca Trehearn stunned the audience with her absolutely beautiful vocals. I audibly heard an intake of breath from audience members, who got to find that out for the first time 👑 I am a self confessed Genevieve Nicole stan, she is ofc HI-LARI-OUS in this, especially as "Kate Bush" 🤣. Stealing scenes left & right, also with my favourite song of the show "Night Bus", a duet with the fantastic Daisy Greenwood, heartfelt and funny 🥰 Jerry Mitchell always pulling out all the stops with his choreography, no surprises here, with some fantastic staging of the musical numbers 🕺 This show is a total crowd pleaser, with shades of Everybody's Talking About Jamie and Heartstopper, I genuinely hope it has a further life 🙏 Now I will just get back to listening to the Cast Recording EP, which has been on repeat since I saw the show 😁 Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic run 🥳 X x x

So it turns out 4 times definitely wasn’t enough ❤️ Our last visit to the magic that is @becomingnancy & I genuinely wish it wasn’t ending. This is show is so special and beautiful & I hope it gets other life elsewhere! + a full soundtrack for this cast! ..Not asking for much 😅

What a wonderful time we had in Birmingham seeing @becomingnancy! Such a fab new musical in a beautiful setting. Was our 1st outing to @BirminghamRep certainly won’t be our last! Well done all involved #becomingnancy was thrilling & wonderful to see a family audience attending!👏🏻

If you haven’t already seen Becoming Nancy you only have a few chances left. I’ve seen it twice and honestly it’s the best new musical I’ve seen in years. Heartfelt, joyous, fantastic cast and wonderful songs. Standing ovation every performance and deservedly so👏 So special ❤️🏳️‍🌈
