and of course masculine straight c1s women exist but they don't call themselves tomboys, they don't really call themselves anything except for grown women bc outside of childhood, being a woman who's not super feminine is actually pretty normal

the reason you dont see "tomboys" anymore is because tomboy is a kind of an infantile term used to describe little girls or teenagers. grown women dont really call themselves tomboys that often. most often they call themselves butch lesbians
