Bear is not immediately the villain of Obsession, as he simply couldn’t overcome his overwhelming insecurities for female affection. However, there is a certain point (or two) where it’s made abundantly clear to him that this isn’t a game and something is extremely wrong. Yet he does nothing about it and continues to believe that he can make this situation work. That’s when he officially becomes the villain because the situation completely spirals out of control.
It just makes me sad that when a trans man/masc dies, I only see other trans men/mascs talking about it, ok? That's literally all I'm saying
