𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 Public employee unions ensure these positions never get cut. They fund supervisorial campaigns. Those supervisors approve contracts that guarantee raises, block layoffs, and expand headcount. When deficits hit, the city raises taxes or cuts services. It never cuts the admin staff competing with taxpayers for apartments. Taxpayers are paying people $300K to manage the managers who manage the contractors, and then losing apartments to them. How do the taxpayers take their city back from the public employee unions?
