I find it quite disheartening that the frozen US “fresh” hops are getting everyone so excited. You know we have actual fresh ones here? There are some great new British hops around at the moment, I brewed green hop beers in September with Ernest and Emperor, both mind blowing.

Our branch meeting this Thursday, 13th January, at the the Hope Inn, Heaton Norris, starting at 8 p.m., will be choosing our Pub, Club and Cider Pub of the Year for 2022.

Since the end of lockdown, we have been exploring all options to bring you a festival in February 2022. Sadly, with all the ongoing uncertainties, we must announce that Manchester Beer & Cider Festival will not return in early 2022.
