@IndiaTodayNE Two Kuki individuals switched cars inside a heavily secured red zone, in full view of security forces. One showed up armed and shot the other. And now the public is left wondering, what is actually going on? Meanwhile, Kukis are lying as usual 🤣

With reference to the shutdown call on NH-2 by COTU, Manipur Police clarifies the facts regarding the incident of 08/04/2026. On 08-04-2026 at about 09:30 PM, a Chevrolet Cruze (WB-06C-7444) with 3 occupants and an Alto car with 1 occupant which came from Kangpokpi side and Sekmai side respectively arrived at Kanglatongbi Bridge for exchanging their vehicles and for doing test drive. During this process, the Cruze met with a minor accident after falling into a nullah. Police personnel from the security naka at Kanglatongbi Hindi High School near Shantipur immediately rushed to the spot and attended to them. Meanwhile, the accompanying Alto car approached at high speed, ignored repeated signals to stop, and nearly hit security personnel on duty. On noticing police presence, the occupants attempted to flee towards Kangpokpi. In view of the imminent risk and suspicious behaviour, security personnel fired controlled rounds aimed at the tyres to stop the vehicle. However, the vehicle did not halt and continued fleeing. Subsequently, it was learnt that the driver of the Alto car, Lenkhogin Tuboi, sustained bullet injuries and was taken to Mission Hospital, Kangpokpi for treatment. The driver of the Cruze, Janggingen Khongsai (21), was detained, handed over to G. Saparmeina Police Station, and later released after observing due formalities. An FIR has been registered and investigation is ongoing. Manipur Police reiterates that the action taken was in response to suspicious behaviour, attempted evasion, and threat to personnel on duty. The public is advised not to be misled by unverified information.

Dear @manipur_police Appreciate your public advising not to be misled by unverified information. But as law enforcing authority, we expect you to take appropriate action against COTU for issuing this misleading statement to incite communal violence; and not just issue advisory.

End Kuki Militants’ Campaign of Terror on Meitei Civilians In the early hours of April 7, 2026, a heinous bomb attack in Moirang claimed the lives of two innocent children—a 5-year-old and a 5-month-old infant—killed in their sleep. This is not an isolated incident but part of a continuing pattern of targeted violence against Meitei civilians. From the brutal Jiribam massacre to abductions, executions, and even drone attacks, women and children have repeatedly been the victims. Yet, despite the proximity of security forces, such attacks continue unchecked, raising serious questions about accountability and response. No peace process can succeed while civilians are being terrorized. No government can justify inaction when innocent lives are lost. The right to life, safety, and access to national highways cannot be denied. We demand immediate arrest of those responsible, dismantling of militant infrastructure, disarmament of armed groups, and accountability for repeated failures. Enough is enough. Protect civilians. Restore justice. #Manipur #JusticeForMeiteis #EndViolence

It looks like these Kuki thugs were either planning for a drug shipment in the dead of the night or they were vehicle thieves. Why else would they run from the police? @COTU_Kangpokpi being the mouthpiece of Kuki terr0rists, naturally supports these criminals and are shamelessly shifting the blame to Meiteis - as expected. Has anyone seen a community which churns out more criminals and play victims than immigrant Chin-Kukis? #KukiLiesXposed

A simple man, a simple house… and a life lost. He stood up to ask a question….why were innocent babies killed inside their own home, while a security camp stood nearby? He was shot for that. This isn’t just a protest. This is a human tragedy. MEITEIS ARE HUNTED #Manipur2026

🚨 3 years of unimaginable agony for Meitei Hindus in Manipur. Delhi to Mumbai for ₹3,180 (3AC Rajdhani train). But a Meitei will have to pay up to ₹8000 for a 250 km travel to Silchar because Foreign trained Kukis have controlled our roads.

Two Hindu Meitei brother sister aged 5 & 6 months were killed in a bomb attack by xtan Kuki terrorists in #Manipur A crime which would have caused national uproar had these kids been xtans, Muslims , Ambedakarites.. But since they were Hindus, not even a whisper by ruling Modi govt ,godi media or bjp IT cell Such js their apathy for manipur that now little kids had to cone out on streets to ask for justice ! #watch ⬇️ When little kids have to come out and hit the streets to demand justice from their own govt , pause and think: How profoundly broken is a nation that reduces its children to this? How dead its collective conscience must be when innocence itself becomes the loudest, most heartbreaking cry for accountability. Shame on Modi govt , hall of shame !

@YKhemchandSingh Sir, this issue has flared violently since May 2023. It did not start 2-3 days ago. One cannot say that it was sudden, unpredictable. Yet the govt is on square one. If the people are fed up , asking tough questions & criticising the govt + the armed forces, then it is justified
