@thefarmbabe Yes, creating a documentary that discusses modern agriculture in a positive light is very difficult due to optics of funding. We had a tiny budget for this doc for that reason. It’s a catch 22. More funding equals better project but less trust :(

Anyone who works in Ag should watch movies like “Kiss the ground” & “Food inc” so they know all the misinformation we’re up against. Side note, conventional ag has a lot of $, where’s it all go & can we please invest a couple billion into paying celebrities to share our message?

Isnt it sad that @foodevomovie is the only one that comes to mind thats on Twitter & Hulu/Netflix? What else? Where are the truthful ag movies at? Farmland & @beforetheplate are good but ag overall should be more proactive & mainstream. Netflix & celebs needed to amplify scicomm

😡 12 came home from school yesterday - uhh dad, our teacher is saying all chemicals are bad, manure kills plants & fertilizers hurt the land & some even explode from diesel exhaust. I'm not a confrontational person but we're gonna have a talk 😡
