@jeremycorbyn There is no word adequate enough to describe the sheer depravity of the IDF. But with what's going on, it's only a matter of time before their false, settler colonial, and genocidal entity is dismantled.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 American reporter Jason Jones: “Trump said Israeli settlements are illegal and must stop, but Israel just approved a new one set to destroy 11,000 Christian homes. It will end the Christian community in Bethlehem.” What kind of retarded Christian supports this?

This is long overdue. Iran has a right to nuclear deterrence. If rogues and supremacists who commit genocide and have no compunction breaking international law have nukes, there is no reason that Iran, which is a civilised country that binds itself to international law, shouldn't have them.

What Trump said about the Saudi Crown Prince is absolutely vulgar and abominable. It's hugely disrespectful. As an ally of the US, the Saudi regime should seriously consider cutting ties with the Trump regime.

@richimedhurst Hi Richard, how about putting the two together: Barbaric Israeli. There is just no shortage of adjectives to describe the reprehensible, abominable, inhumane, supremacist, grosteque, and forever-warish conduct of the "Barbaric Israeli".

Wait, am I dreaming or is Trump here admitting the U.S. lost in Iran? "I didn't think there was a big risk but there's always surprises with war. There could be very bad surprises. I mean wars are lost that should be won. Many wars are lost... You think a country is going to wipe somebody out and they end up getting wiped out themselves so it's always risky." He then says he's leaving NATO because they weren't there to help.
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

Massive geopolitical shift. Trump announces the US is abandoning NATO because European nations refused to join his illegal and disastrous war against Iran. The American empire is completely isolating itself on the world stage. By the way Israel didn't send a single soldier.

That's because of your forever-wars doctrine. Pure and simple. You wage wars on instinct, when you have a 'feeling' for war, not necessarily for the protection of the American people. But you haven't truly won any wars ever. You only destroy. That's what happened in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. Tactical victories that never turned into strategic ones.

SECRETARY RUBIO: The U.S. is constantly asked to help in wars and we have. But when we had a need, it didn’t get positive responses from NATO. A couple leaders said that Iran was not Europe’s war. Well, Ukraine isn’t our war, yet we’ve contributed more to that fight than anyone.

@atrupar Marco Rubio is a disgusting, arrogant fool. The war on Iran started by the US murdering over 170 schoolgirls. Everyday since, the US and Israel have attacked and bombed civilian units, incl over 250 schools and academic institutions and numerous hospitals and medical centers.

Nobody in the Trump administration planned for Iran to shut the Strait of Hormuz. Nobody planned for sustained missile strikes on American bases across the Gulf. Nobody planned for an energy crisis. Nobody planned for Europe to look at Washington, shrug, and walk the other way. Nobody, it turns out, planned for very much at all. Read the accounts of how this war was decided and you are left with one deeply uncomfortable realisation: the people who launched it appear to have been genuinely surprised by almost everything that followed. The Iranians shot back. The allies didn’t show up. The oil price went vertical. All of it, apparently, news to them. Which leaves two questions so obvious they’re almost embarrassing to ask. What exactly did they think was going to happen? And did anyone, in any room, at any point, think further ahead than the applause? Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

There is a profound irony in the fact that the countries funding the American war on Iran are the same countries that call themselves the heart of Arab and Muslim civilization. Mecca is in Saudi Arabia. The largest sovereign wealth funds in the Muslim world are in the Gulf. The most expensive mosques. The most lavish Islamic conferences. The most generously funded Islamic universities and research centers and charitable foundations. And the money that funds all of this, the same money, from the same oil, managed by the same governments, is also funding the military infrastructure that is being used against the most significant remaining Muslim power that has not been broken by the American imperial system. You are funding the dismantling of the last major Muslim state that says no. With money made from Muslim oil. Managed by governments that claim Muslim legitimacy. In the name of a civilization whose Prophet said the Muslim ummah is one body. The contradiction is not subtle. It is not hidden. It does not require sophisticated analysis to see. It is completely, starkly, humiliatingly visible to every Muslim in the world who is paying attention. And the Muslims of the world are paying attention. They are watching. They are learning. And what they are learning about the governments of the Gulf will not be forgotten when the security arrangements change and the palaces need a different kind of legitimacy.
