Just got off a call with a brand for creative strategy work and had a quiet “oh shit” moment. Not in an ego way… just realizing I wasn’t second guessing anything I said. Every recommendation felt clear, intentional, and backed by actual experience. A year ago I would’ve overexplained everything just to prove I knew what I was talking about. Now I just… know. Community is everything in this space and heres the most beautiful example I want to share with y’all… I had my AHA Wave 6 mentees jump on a call with Wave 7 last night and it reinforced something most creators don’t want to hear: This only works if you put in the reps. It’s easy to look at someone’s day 100 and spiral about your day 1, but every single person on that call started confused, inconsistent, and figuring it out in real time. What changed wasn’t luck. It was execution. And that’s the part people skip. Everyone wants the outcome, very few are willing to operate like it’s a real business. But that wasn’t the best part, this was… I asked them 2 hours before the call if they could come on. Almost all of them showed up. @MalaikaMHere is literally in Vietnam right now and still set a 5:30am alarm to be there. That’s the standard - That’s the difference. Sometimes I think about what my life would look like if I had a 9–5 💼 And within SECONDS I’m mentally in an interview being asked “if you were a fruit what would you be” and I’m like okay wait this is important, let me think. Pineapple has structure. Authority. Slightly intimidating energy. 🍍 But dragonfruit is unexpected. A little confusing. Strong personal brand. 🐉 Now I’m fully spiraling, trying to figure out what fruit best represents my work ethic, like I’m about to be hired for something.
