One of the biggest mistakes I see creators make is skipping market research and jumping straight into scripting. Before I write a single line, I’m asking: what is the product actually trying to accomplish? Is the goal awareness? Is it educating the audience? Is it conversion? Once you understand the product’s goal and what the market is already saying about it, the creative angle becomes a lot clearer. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

If you’re not making ugly ads, what are you doing? The first video is a sponsored video and the second video is just a creator personal branding video. I offer whitelisting to many of my clients and this is how the majority of my content looks because if it looked polished it would not be believable. UGC is slowly going back to what it used to be, and a lot of creators are missing it because they’re still trying to make everything look polished instead of making it feel real. People are getting smarter, which means they can immediately tell when something sounds rehearsed or looks like it went through five rounds of approvals. What they actually respond to is content that feels natural, like someone just picked up their phone and started talking about a product the way they normally would, not like they’re reading off a script they were handed. At the same time, I still see so many creators prioritising traditional UGC, focusing on clean lighting, perfect delivery, and safe formats, and then wondering why brands don’t come back to work with them. It’s not the algorithm. It’s that there’s no originality or range in what you’re offering, so there’s no real reason for a brand to keep testing you when they can get the same thing from someone else. This shift isn’t about making worse content. It’s about making content that blends in before it sells, and if you don’t learn how to do that, you’ll keep getting one-off deals instead of long-term partnerships. #ugc #ugccreators #ugccommunity

One thing I’ve learned as a creator is that the best scripts rarely start with creativity. They start with research. I’m in the Meta Ads Library, TikTok Creative Center, Reddit threads, and product reviews studying how real people talk about the problem. When you use the audience’s exact language, the script stops sounding like marketing and starts sounding like truth. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Batch creating changed everything for me as a creator. Instead of filming one video every day, I’ll block off a few hours and film multiple concepts back-to-back. Same setup. Same lighting. 😎 For anyone that writes scripts: - If the script sounds too stacked with features/value props, no bueno - You're going to make a video version of a product description page instead of UGC - There is a fine line between the perfect script and it being too short or too long.
