I was inspired by the amazing hoop art @bekibutton created for my 50th birthday last year, hence the Beckstein's bat.

I'm doing the #64millionartists #TheJanuaryChallenge and I think I might have peaked today, with this bat.

Plus embroidery hoop bats. Another Honduran white bat, and Daubenton's bat, two of my faves. Look at the buttony nose! The beautiful stitches ❤🦇

The incredibly lovely and talented @bekibutton sent me amazing bat-themed belated birthday goodness. I cried tears of joy at such kindness.

@girlontheriver Oooh if I still had my own laser cutter I could defo whip up some blade necklaces, though I can still take commissions for those and anything else rowing related and laser cut, prob wouldn’t be delivered before Christmas though (I have to outsource the cutting these days) 😊
