@jon_bowman1 @coachprburkhead The ACL is actually a ligament, not a tendon. And strong quads/hamstrings help stabilize the knee. The bigger issue is force production and speed outpacing neuromuscular adaptation, that’s why you see so many athletes with terrible biomechanics and weak hips/core.

I honestly don’t recall anyone ever tearing an ACL when I was in HS (mid-2000s). Why are they so prevalent now?
