Anybody else, especially chess radiologists, who can't escape the sense that we are way, way over-following small thoracic aortic aneurysms? What is actual yield of treatable, progressing disease from annual follow-up of a 4.1 cm tubular ascending thoracic aorta?

At one point we had an MS1, MS2, and MS3 and an R1, R2, and R3 in multiple rooms. Always more to learn and never too early to start! #radres #futureradres
