What is YouTube competitive edge if AI is good enough to generate content to your taste with only a prompt thought? Have to imagine every media company doing it (Netflix, Disney etc..) if this ever happens. In that case, why would I subscribe to any of those if they all do the same thing?

"When should I change my title and thumbnail?" I got you. Here's what I would do 👇 Every video should start with a 3-way thumbnail test. Not “three small variations.” Not “change the shirt color.” Three completely different concepts. You don’t know the winner until the data tells you. If you don’t know what concepts to test: Use 1 of 10 → pull similar videos from the last 6 months → filter for 2× outliers. Study their concepts. Not copy. Inspiration. Pattern recognition. The point of a 3-way test is simple: Give YouTube a real chance to show you what people actually click. Creators lose views because they test too “safe.” How I run it: 3 thumbnails 1 title Check every 6–12 hours (early on) Then move to 24 hours If any concept wins by 7%+ CTR, that’s your new default. Only after a concept wins do you test variations. That’s when text tweaks, color shifts, and minor refinements matter. But those tweaks only make sense after the big concept is proven. For every video, I have ~9 thumbnails ready before upload: 3 base concepts 3 variations of each This guarantees at least two clean test cycles. “What about title changes?” You don’t touch the title until the video flatlines. Flatline = traffic stops meaningfully moving. Then: Change title → wait 24 hours → check → repeat if nothing happens. I prioritize my newest video. But yes, there are videos where I’ve run 10–15 title/thumbnail tests across weeks. And some of those videos spiked way later. Most creators quit too early. This system works because it removes the guessing. Thumbnail ≠ art project. Thumbnail = hypothesis → test → refine. Let the data make the decision. A touchpoint that would suggest retail is indeed here 👀 Julian started making Bitcoin explainer videos just 2 months ago. He switched from making HQ bitcoin investigations and documentaries on getbased / kinetic finance to a more "basic" bitcoin format. He has since racked up hundreds of thousands of views and 18,000+ subs 🤯 It's one of the fastest growing bitcoin formats i've ever seen (yes that includes podcasters and books). It is EXCELLENT content that does one thing exceptionally well: EXPLAIN BITCOIN. He already has several 6 figure view videos in 2 months. And that's only on youtube. Wild. I'm impressed and frankly, jealous! He is talking to hundreds of thousands of noobie bitcoiners who are scared about this price action, nervous about 'when the last bitcoin block is mined,' and anxious that they might have missed the bitcoin boat and will never get a 10x or 100x. Understanding bitcoin takes time; having conviction in bitcoin takes a metric fck tonne of books, pods and increasingly - exceptional youtube video explainers. The growth on julian's channel would suggest bitcoin is indeed reaching more and more people. fck yeah!
