Want to know how ridiculous and awful Ins company and their PBM denials are? The insurance company that denies the claim, that is if it’s them and not a subcontractor like medica , also picked the network and doctors.   So they are saying the network, that they sold to plan holders as being great, isn’t good enough for them to trust enough to determine your care. And on top of that, they charge to appeal denials. Which is a problem for many people.  That should be illegal.  And on top of that 60 pct of plan holders have plans from self insured employers.  It’s the company’s money.   But the ceo has no idea that the carrier they hired to authorize care , may have denied life or death care.   They don’t know that for some amount of money they may be able to save the life or maintain the health  of an employee or their family.  Require all TPAs to inform the CSuite of all critical denials , same day  They Are Too Big to Care. Break Up Big Medicine.

It’s been a long time since I’ve bought a fan into @HUSTLERCASINOLA game. I am going to pick 3 people. 2 people who have had my back all year: @angfresh12 and @CodyBollinger . Third person will be a person who comments on this post by FRIDAY night PT. $5,000 each + airfare and accom. I am going to work with @TheRyanFeldman to protect the game more and make it more Rec players and smaller stakes so my winners can go home with some money.

@berkey11 One tangible output just varies based on the work you are doing that day? A 60 minute recap feels really long - I'm not sure I could talk for an hour about how I attended yet another status meeting for work. 😂

Been messing around building with Claude and OpenClaw lately. First thing I made was something I actually needed. I've done 75 Hard a few times. It's great as a physical and disciplinary challenge, but those aren't areas I've struggled with in recent years. I've lacked in direction and focus beyond my daily routine. So I built The Rules of Engagement 30 Day Challenge (ROE-30) to improve my productivity, learn new skills, and maybe find a bigger purpose than check-raising tourists. If it resonates, give it a shot. Tag #ROE30 in your updates. Feedback appreciated. berkey11.github.io/roe30

My husband and I are both Aggies and we try to go at least a couple of games a year. Our youngest son also stutters and has since age 3. After hearing KC’s first post game press thing, my husband and I wondered if he might also have a stutter, and then it was confirmed a few days later with this article. Long story short, we were presented with an incredible opportunity where my son got to be in the tunnel and got to personally meet KC before the Miss St. game! KC was just as wonderful as you might have thought, and then some! He came up to my son, they dapped up, and HE was the one giving the inspirational speech to my son! “You and me, we’re the same, we go through the same thing everyday, but don’t ever let nobody tell you what you cannot do! Go be great my boy!”😭 I recorded this, but I SUCK and was all caught up in the moment and tearing up, that I basically recorded my son’s elbow the whole time. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I know this was such a big moment for our son. This picture is now his phone background, his school iPad background. It was such a sweet and inspiring moment that we’ll remember forever. And then he proceded to go and have an amazing game as we BTHO Mississippi State. Needless to say, he’s got forever fans in us, whatever NFL team he lands!

🚨 EARN OVER $10K FOR REPORTING SEEING MIKE POSTLE IN TOURNAMENTS 🚨 I am one of only two poker players on earth with a court judgment against Mike Postle -- now over $42k after interest. He has DODGED PAYMENT FOR 5 YEARS and refused to pay, despite cashing in multiple tournaments during that time. The problem is that he has reportedly been asking tournament directors to keep quiet if he makes Day 2 and list him under an alias. By the time I find out he's going to cash, it's too late to garnish his winnings, especially out of state. It is possible that he is tipping these TDs to do this for him. For this reason, I have decided to provide a BIG INCENTIVE to find Postle playing tournaments and report it to me. Here is my offer: If you see Mike Postle playing a tournament, and it's down to 20% of the field or less, text me at (775) 372-8355. If you have a picture of him, that's even better, but not required. We will immediately start collections proceedings. I will give you 25% OF ALL MONEY COLLECTED if we are successful, which could end up over $10k for you! This is open to ANYONE who sees him, including tournament staff. Anonymity guaranteed. If he is part of any other long-running contest and seems to be in the running for decent prize money, that applies, too. Same 25% reward. Note that this will only be paid to the FIRST person who alerts me at each event, and it will also only be paid if we end up collecting. If we fail to collect, I cannot pay anything. However, we will put substantial effort into collecting if it seems a decent payday is coming his way. If you are frustrated that Postle never faced any legal consequences for the entire scandal, or if you're just interested in making some easy cash, take down my number. (775) 372-8355. Anonymity guaranteed, if desired. Please retweet this if you can. Let's get this judgment collected.

So, back in 1980, @DMagazine did the definitive story of how the Mavs were founded. It never went online because we didn't have a hard copy to digitize at the time. On Friday, Norm Sonju's son emailed us a bunch of PDFs. Now it is. You have to read this dmagazine.com/sports/2026/01…

AI helped me break up but doesn't do thread and im too lazy to fix... 1/🧵 A friend asked for investing advice after coming into money. I gave them my framework, then had it cleaned up. It’s useful for almost everyone, so I’m sharing it here. 2/🧵 Core mistake most investors make: They pick investments first, then justify them. “This deal looks good.” “Everyone is buying X.” That sequence guarantees misallocation. 3/🧵 Correct sequence: Define the life outcomes you want that are currently unaffordable or uncertain Decide what risk is justified to obtain those outcomes Only then choose assets If the purpose is unclear, risk is unpriced. 4/🧵 Principle #1: Purpose comes before asset selection. Money is a tool for life outcomes. If you don’t define what it’s meant to do, returns alone won’t help you. 5/🧵 Principle #2: Every portfolio has two buckets — and confusing them causes most mistakes. The buckets are: • Get Rich • Stay Rich They require opposite behavior. 6/🧵 Get Rich means: You cannot yet afford the life you want (now or later). Rules: • Asymmetric upside > volatility • Concentration is rational • Failure is acceptable • Upside must be life-changing 7/🧵 Get Rich assets: • Venture / private equity • Highly volatile growth • Founder-level exposure • Binary or convex bets Key test: “If this goes to zero, was the attempt still worth it?” 8/🧵 Stay Rich means: You can already afford everything you want, plus margin for error. Rules: • Preservation > maximization • Volatility is a tax on peace of mind • Quiet compounding beats home runs 9/🧵 Stay Rich assets: • Treasuries, munis • Diversified equities • Yield-focused instruments • Low drawdown strategies Key test: “If this loses 40%, does my life materially worsen?” 10/🧵 Principle #3: Risk without purpose is irrational. Risk is not justified by: • “It might go up” • “I don’t want to miss out” • “Smart people are doing it” 11/🧵 Risk is justified only if it buys access to something otherwise unattainable. If you already have: • Security • Freedom • Optionality Then excess risk delivers zero real reward. 12/🧵 That isn’t conservatism. It’s correct optimization. 13/🧵 Principle #4: Temporary parking is a strategy, not inaction. Short-term Treasuries or munis: • Preserve optionality • Generate income • Buy decision time without penalty 14/🧵 Patience framed as “earning daily interest”: • Reduces pressure to act • Prevents forced errors • Keeps optionality alive Speed only matters when direction is known. 15/🧵 Principle #5: Emotional honesty beats financial sophistication. Two people can look at the same deal: • One should invest aggressively • The other shouldn’t touch it Same asset. Different lives. 16/🧵 Ignoring this leads to: • Panic selling • Regret-driven decisions • Dissatisfaction even with good returns This is a self-knowledge problem, not a finance problem. 17/🧵 Principle #6: Gambling isn’t the enemy — mismatched gambling is. Everyone has a speculative impulse. The mistake is gambling with capital that doesn’t buy you anything new. 18/🧵 Rule: Gamble only with capital that meaningfully improves your life if it works. Never gamble capital whose loss changes nothing. That’s discipline, not recklessness. 19/🧵 Principle #7: The silent question every investment must answer: “If this fails badly, am I still glad I tried given what success would have enabled?” 20/🧵 If the answer is no: • The position size is wrong, or • The asset doesn’t belong in the portfolio at all. 21/🧵 Bottom line: This framework isn’t conservative or aggressive. It’s purpose-aligned capital allocation. Many investors fail not from bad assets, but from never deciding what their money is for.

It’s not just MSP that has been surprisingly quiet for people flying out the last 5 days. Drivers in Chicago reporting not getting any rides to O’Hare. Any. Our clients saying the airports they originated from to visit relatives in Minnesota were also quieter than a normal week

“Dirk saves all butts.” —Randy Galloway. ———————————— Dear Mr. Dumont: If I may be so bold, please allow me to set before you a few reflections that I hope may guide you. They are offered with an earnest heart and friendly intention. Firstly, the opinions expressed here are mine and mine alone. And since you’re new around here, I’ll go ahead and admit that I’ve been known to miss on an opinion or two every now and then. Such as… The One and Done Boys, anything involving Jurickson Profar, The Free Roddy B Movement, and openly wanting the Cowboys to draft Johnny Football over future Hall of Famer Zack Martin — just to name a few. Nonetheless, I have some sound advice that could help your basketball team out of the blast crater rubble it currently finds itself beneath. The way out is actually quite simple. Please immediately extend a massive offer to Dirk Nowitzki to return home in any role he desires, for whatever compensation he desires. Now keep in mind, this may be something that our brave hero has no interest in right now. His current lifestyle appears to suit him quite nicely. And it turns out our boy — no surprise here — is an extraordinary broadcaster. The way he broke down the Luka/Nico situation on Amazon is the current leader in the clubhouse for all media — no analyst has done it better. And he’s only been doing this professionally for 5 minutes. So let’s be very clear about the following: you need him, he does not need you. So please be as convincing as you can be. Give him a robust offer he simply cannot refuse. And if he still refuses, increase the offer significantly. Wash and repeat until you have successfully secured the Dirk. Mistakes were made. Thermonuclear mistakes. But now the question is, where do we go from here? Your business acumen, particularly when it comes to casinos, resorts and large corporate finance, appears to be Jedi level. Because of that, I know you’re smart enough to see what needs to be done next. You must bring Dirk Nowitzki back into the fold. If you get 41 back in the building — in almost any capacity, as long as Mavs fans know that he’ll be there protecting their best interests — confidence will be restored. Hope will once again begin to percolate. Local birds will once again begin singing their beautiful melodies. We interviewed him for @HaymakerNetwork a few weeks ago and it sounded like he once believed his future was to work in the Mavs FO. But since that never materialized, he has gone on to do other things and could not be happier. The grind of such a job no longer seems quite as appealing. (Link in comments) So even if the agreement is merely that he receives a courtesy call before any giant moves are made. Even if he’s just a part-time consultant. Even if it’s just a monthly zoom call. That would be enough. And let’s say you pay him the highest number he can write down on a napkin and slide over to you. It would be worth every penny. You see, we the people of Dallas-Fort Worth love us some Dirk. We believe in him. We trust him. And let’s get this straight — he IS the Dallas Mavericks. Character. Credibility. Wisdom. One of the most globally respected basketball minds on Earth. And he’s ours. And yours. He kinda came with the purchase. Your fan base doesn’t trust the organization right now. Nico took a wrecking ball to that relationship. Short of buying a DeLorean with a flux capacitor, your only real shot at getting out of this mess, in my humble opinion, is to ask Dirk — very nicely — to come save you. If it feels awkward, don’t worry about it. We’ve all been doing it for decades. It’ll become second nature for you, like it has for us. It’s a lot like throwing that Batman logo up in the sky. We don’t deserve it, but for some unknown reason, he simply can’t stop helping our city. So please follow this friendly advice at your earliest convenience: Go. Get. Dirk. Respectfully, J.
