@MaxPatten i was able to get to 228kW at IONNA but then it fell off a cliff again way before 30% and i thought it was the cable to i switched to a new cable and it fell off the cliff again after a few seconds.
Let me know how the charge test goes. Specifically the curve. On superchargers, mine drops off a cliff consistently at 30% from 194kW to 140kW before walking up to 150kW then holds for a while. Charges pretty fast at high SOC which is great but i’m curious why it tanks after 30% every time. (This graph is 3 separate charging tests i did at Superchargers after tons of preconditioning)
@ben_pellow Yeah I had mine trying to idle to 0% so I could do a full charge test but it fell asleep while I was in the driver seat at 2% and wouldn’t wake up from the hard reset procedure. Dealer this week is updating it to 2.1.24 and I’ll full charge again to recalibrate BMS
occasionally calls over bluetooth i can’t hear them + they can’t hear me but supposedly that’s fixed with the new Orin chip, sometimes it thinks someone is in the passenger seat and beeps until i reset the car, and the most serious one i got the first time the other day was an ESC error which took a way regen braking but letting the car sleep for an hour fixed that. A few infotainment resets when it wouldn’t connect to cellular too. I don’t think i’ve ever left the car when it’s that low i usually get to a charger and plug in right away when it’s that low.
@ben_pellow What have been the software hiccups you've had? Infotainment reset or any drive computer errors? I had a new one the other day where below 2% SoC the car put itself into sleep mode and wouldn't wake up until I plugged in a CCS cable (luckily I was parked at the DCFC to test)
Had fun checking out @ionnaofficial at Wally's in Pontiac, IL. 2 hours south of Chicago. Great spatious charging set up, and Wally's is the ultimate road trip stop!
@MaxPatten i set it up but i think it only works in Europe, i haven’t gotten it to work at any charger here. I’ve tried Chargepoint, IONNA, Tesla, EA, and EVgo.
Welp….
Polestar 3 gave first set of fault codes, all warning lights on. Was able to fix with a drive computer reset (brake and holding down steering wheel buttons) but glad it’s leased for now 😅
Plus side: two computers so the infotainment works while you wait!
@MaxPatten Lucky!! i’ve been begging them to get me the chip but apparently it’s very slow process getting everyone upgraded. they said they’re only doing 1-2 a day 😭
@ben_pellow Yup! Park assist is on haven’t had an opportunity test it yet. The one thing I’m missing is a native Apple Music app (I actually subscribe to YT music but Apple has the best Atmos library)
