TOR at LAC 1u on TOR +160 (Novig) LAC is locked into the play-in and Kawhi is Questionable tonight. Given that LAC is playing their 15th game in March (TOR is only playing their 12th), LAC might well sit Kawhi. The model likes TOR here even if Kawhi plays but, with the possibility of Kawhi sitting, at these odds, this game becomes even more mispriced. Of course, if Kawhi sits the odds will drop so… better to bet now, I think.

The only two I can come up with that give Avatar a run are the Dollars trilogy and the Before trilogy. Both those trilogies are particularly special, IMO, because the second one is better than the first and the third one is better than the second. That’s almost impossible to do. As much as I love Big Jim there is a slight drop off, I think, after A1 and A2. I blame having to split the A2 script into two films which led them to having to repeat the third-act climax beats 💔

One pick today: MIA at CHA 1u on MIA +185 (Novig) Good down to +165. Bam is out for MIA but his backup, Kel’el Ware, is productive. More productive than Bam in our model as Ware shoots 56% from the field while Bam, 83-point night withstanding, only shoots 44%. And more minutes for Myron Gardner is a good thing.

Just saw Avatar Fire and Ash for my 21st and final time in theaters. That's 68.25 hours. 2.8 days. This theater (shout-out AMC Jersey Gardens) still had the standee up and I got so emotional that I staged a whole photoshoot. Felt genuinely gutted when I left the theater 😢
