PM at day ⏤ Doodles #6017 at night

I've been playing with the $DOOD tokenomics, and the trickiest variable the team has is Space Miles - the soft staking that started a year ago. The top 25 (out of 1,800+) hold almost 50% of total miles, with ~32.5% in the top 5%! So what does that mean for the airdrop? This is where the second chart (with the steep drop-off) comes into play. There are 10K @doodles and ~9,300 Dooplicators. Those top five with 32% of the miles only hold 3.1% of the Doodles supply and 4.6% of the Dooplicator supply. So, in theory, they could get a 7x-10x on their money from a 1:1 airdrop rewarding per NFT held. This means if Space Miles are a major directional indicator of the airdrop, the team might have to decide if they want the top 15-25 whales to eat at the expense of people who own 3/4/5 Doodles and Doops who have a much worse return based on the model. We'll see how they handle it - they have a creative and smart team, so perhaps they're thinking about things in a different way. And, of course, there are many variables here including packs/tickets/wearables, base payouts for assets held, etc. Gonna keep playing with the numbers and maybe drop a longer thread with payout predictions for different levels this week.
