@LizWiseman My 'aha!' moment was actually that the Impact Player Framework needed to become the scaffolding for Univ of Wyoming MBA program - we need to be training Impact Players. Going beyond just required reading, we will work over the next year to embed it in our culture and curriculum.

When I first wrote Multipliers, I had an ‘aha!’ moment when I saw that most of the diminishing inside the workplace is done with the best of intentions, by what I call the Accidental Diminisher. If you read Impact Players & had an ‘aha!’ moment, what was it?

I find it completely unacceptable that Chuck Norris has yet to be featured in a Fortnite Icon Series. At the same time, when my 11 year old asks for VBucks - it is nice to be able to say, "Only if you need it to buy a Chuck Norris skin." #fortnite #chucknorris

Holy smokes, trying to interconnect a small solar project (≤10 MW) in Oregon is expensive!

While you are being flooded by news stories about EPA's Clean Energy Rule to replace the never-enforced Obama-era Clean Power Plan and save coal, it might be worth having a little bit of context. Here is U.S. electricity by fuel source since 1948:

@chickamade @arvindpawan1 Keep in mind that 0.5% is not equally distributed. In my state of Wyoming 50-70% of state and local government revenue is driven by coal, oil and gas. The labor concentration is huge, and the consequences of failed transitions are dire for our communities.

@arvindpawan1 Appreciate your empathy. This is necessary. OTOH, people get laid off all the time. GM just laid off 15 percent of workforce. Also, O&G employs <0.5% of the US. Pennsylvania has "more jobs in renewable energy ... than coal, natural gas, and oil combined."

It's funny how many companies interpret 'net-zero decarbonization by 2050' as 'sell as much O&G as possible now'. 2050 is not far away. Are there any credible studies of what sub-national economies would look like without O&G? I'm thinking Alberta, Texas, or Oklahoma.

2/ So will cryptocurrency mining's energy demand overwhelm global electricity supplies? Retailer friends: Are displays like this with 2-3 shelves out of reach for 80% of people for visual effect or is it a design flaw?

@JohnHolbein1 At least in academe, published writing is usually the only part of your myriad responsibilities that you actually get credit for in pursuit of promotion. I think people mean #ShouldBePublishing

Yo: what's the deal with scientists being obsessed with tweeting about how much writing they are doing, but not other aspects of the research process? I see a lot of comments like #IShouldBeWriting/#AmWriting, but for me, that really oversimplifies the research process.

Law students! If you're a professor's RA this summer, I want to share a quick note about how your relationship will differ from your student-professor relationship. You are senior/junior collaborators now. What does this mean?
