My days lately → Wake up → Watch a @marclou video for a motivation hit → Build in public all day → Sleep → Repeat The grind is real, but we keep pushing. #BuildInPublic

@sherifgjini Has to be finding customers. Building is fast these days but there are no shortcuts when it comes to getting people to actually finding customers..

Solo founders, what’s eating most of your time? – building the product – finding customers – doing both alone

@sflorimm They've also been "code-first" from the start, found their niche and stuck to it.

@ShraddhaShips Same here, I mostly interact with people posting around my niche and I'm sure a lot of people do the same. So finding your niche and staying consistent beats spamming random posts any day.

one thing I wish I knew earlier about X: consistency of topic > consistency of posting frequency. posting every day about random stuff won't grow you. posting 4x a week about one focused thing will.

@ShraddhaShips I just use X Analytics for this. Under the content section you can see impressions per post. It doesn't tell the full story but it's a quick way to spot which content types are landing and what's worth doubling down on.

Looking for recommendations 👀 what tools are you using to track which of your X posts actually drove profile visits or follows? X analytics feels limited. curious what founders are actually using.

Distribution will probably be mentioned 100 times in this thread and honestly, it should be. I've built 3 things that went nowhere. Not because the product was bad, but because nobody saw it. This time I'm building the audience before the product. Learned that lesson the hard way.

How many replies a day is actually enough to be a reply guy on X? I keep seeing people throw around numbers like 100-200 replies a day. Is that really the bar, or is there a smarter strategy I'm missing?

@eliana_jordan It heavily depends on your account's reach. For smaller accounts, getting feedback is one of the biggest struggles

@asaio87 It takes a lot more to build a production-grade app than just vibe coding. But I have a feeling AI agents will become capable enough to do this in the near future.

Everybody says building an app is easy now. I can tell you building production-grade apps is still not trivial.

i started my journey on X 5 months ago… and yesterday I passed 2.5k followers. yay. but that’s it for the celebration part. I don’t want to bore you with another generic milestone post. instead, I want to share what I learned during these 5 months. bear with me till the end, hopefully something here helps you. first things first… 5 months ago, I had 0 revenue… and I’m still at 0. but honestly, I’m not chasing money yet. from day 0, I had one clear objective in mind: build an audience before building products. I wanted to create a personal brand. a layer of trust. something that, later on, people can rely on when I launch offers. and I think I made decent progress on that. second… I launched my first product (acadictive). it was an educational interactive platform I built with passion. but looking back, it was bad at almost every level: weak UI, unclear offer, no real pain point, no defined audience. I genuinely missed the mark. so I shut it down early (RIP) and pivoted… not once, probably 3–4 times until now. recently, I launched a waitlist for my new product, and in 24 hours more than 150 people signed up. why am I sharing this? because building in public improves you fast: coding, positioning, distribution, feedback loops… everything. 1 and yes, my account is still called acadictive. I keep it as a reminder of where I started. third… you’ve probably heard “be consistent” a million times. I agree. but consistency doesn’t mean replying 200 times a day or spending 8 hours on X. for me, it means defining clear goals, sticking to them, and learning from mistakes along the way. consistency in learning and in execution. everything else is noise. last but not least… if you’re early in your journey, don’t quit. there were many moments in these 5 months where I wanted to stop. times I felt alone. times where 0 users killed my motivation. where 0 revenue and ongoing costs made me question everything. this path is lonely. full of uncertainty. but if you stay in the game long enough, keep learning, and keep adapting… things start to move. I’m not in a position to give advice. I’m just getting started. but I do have enough experience to say this: keep going. keep building. keep learning. don’t let anyone slow you down. if you truly believe in your journey, results will follow. thanks for reading. and sorry for the long post.

@nitin_coder Next.js for both backend and frontend. If I need anything backend-specific or that requires long-running workers, I use Node.js for the backend.
