If you are using the For You feed, then yes it is deliberately set up for you to see content you will "be engaged with" although that really means "get enraged at". It's the old newspaper trick of making the readers angry, but on a sinister scale. Switch to "Following" feed or go to Bluesky - much better, more interaction with real people and most of the people you want to follow will be there. I am on my last legs with this place.

A friend’s son had this reaction to something, probably outdoors, possibly insect, possibly plant - happened in semi-rural area on outskirts of Dublin. Doctors baffled. Anyone got any ideas on a diagnosis?
