The Qur’an does not only address 16th-century Protestantism, which emerged much later. Many early Christian sects exalted Mary to a place of worship. A more suitable verse for your sect would be Qur’an 4:171: “Do not say, ‘Three,’” as in 1 John 5:7, which speaks of the three who bear witness in heaven. The hadith explains that taking your scholars and monks as lords besides Allah does not necessarily mean literal worship. It refers to worship in the sense of following their laws when they contradict God’s laws and favoring their rulings over His. Muhammad ﷺ is all over your scriptures. He is the most obvious true prophet prophesied in the Bible: Deuteronomy 18, Deuteronomy 33, Isaiah 21, Isaiah 42, Haggai 2, Habakkuk 3, Psalm 74, John 1:19–21, John 14–16, Matthew 22, and the list goes on. ✌️

We always ask our Jewish and Christian friends, “What religion did Abraham follow?” And we are always met with confusion. Yet the Torah and the Qur’an give us the answer directly: Genesis 17:1: “Be shalem before God.” Qur’an 2:208: “Enter into al-silm completely.” The Hebrew shalem and the Arabic silm share a common Semitic root—Sh-L-M / S-L-M—emphasizing wholeness, peace, and complete submission to God. That is why the Qur’an correctly calls Abraham a Muslim. 🤍

Stop trying to inteprete scripture because you’re too bad at it. Who told you the keys Jesus gave to Peter was a key to the gates of heaven where God lives? He told Peter; upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of heaven shall not prevail over it. And I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. The Church is the Kingdom of God/Heaven here on earth. That’s why on the day of Pentecost when the church started, Peter was the first apostle who rose to declare the gospel of Christ.

Hebrew and Arabic are related Semitic languages, so they share many roots. That does not mean the words are identical or that Isaiah is referring to Islam. Moreover, Isaiah 42:19 is speaking about Israel as God’s servant, not identifying Jesus as a follower of a seventh-century religion. Calling Jesus a Muslim only works if you redefine the word to mean someone who submits to God, but that is an Islamic theological claim, not what the Hebrew text or Ellicott’s commentary is saying.

Jesus is not a Muslim, right? Yet even biblical commentaries say the servant and his followers in Isaiah 42 are meshullam, which scholars point out is connected to the word Muslim: one who submits his will to God. Christians cannot get around this. Jesus was a Muslim. Debate closed.

@fawzydawah There is no evidence Mohammed was an ishmaelite. There isn’t even any link from adnan to Ishmael. Your own sources disprove this made up family tree of yours. Al sira al nabawiya by Ibn kathir page 50-53 discusses all of these.

GodLogic: “Okay then… what tribe of Israel was Muhammad from?” Muslim: “Jkkeorooorooeouwhwbsmmdldlkkjavvavababahjjj… 🤖📡📶” GodLogic: “Let’s keep it simple. What tribe of Israel was Muhammad from?” Muslim: “Well… he wasn’t actually an Israelite. He just had Israelite DNA.” GodLogic: takes out his notebook 📝😹 There is literally nothing Muslims haven’t said to defend Islam, Allah, and Muhammad at this point 😹

@Jafstar1210 @JamesKowalski88 Samari isn’t an Israelite. The story comes from the Midrash. It’s a Midrash story Mohammed heard and arabicized the name. It’s from pirke de rabbi Eliezer chapter 45. The name is actually sammael, a demon in rabbinic Judaism who a rabbi said led the people astray.

Do you know about the Quranic Samaritan dilemma? You probably know the classic Quran dilemma (the Quran confirming the Bible). But did you know the Quran puts a Samaritan at the building of the golden calf 400 years before Samaritans even existed? Why would anyone waste their time reproducing the Quran again when the stories in it are not even original to begin with? The Quran itself is a reproduction of stories that were already in circulation in uninspired sources. Most if its stories come from the Talmud Targum Midrash the seven sleepers of Ephesus protoevangelium of James Arab infancy gospels gospel of Thomas gospel of pseudo-Matthew Syriac legend of Alexander.

Genesis 16:14 says Beer-lahai-roi was between Kadesh and Bered and Hagar was traveling in the direction of Shur, a region associated with the area near Egypt and the Sinai wilderness. Isaac also lived by Beer-lahai-roi (Genesis 25:11), which would make little sense if the location were in Mecca, over a thousand kilometers from Canaan. Because a rabbi says it doesn’t make it true, however if it makes you Muslims happy, you can continue to lay in your delusion bed.

In Genesis 16, Hagar was told by the angel of the Lord that she would bear a son by a spring in the desert called “Beer Lahai Roi,” meaning “the well of the Living One.” Ibn Ezra says this place is the well of Zamzam. So I guess Abraham and Ishmael were in Mecca after all. 😎

The anonymous author of the Quran thought that Christians believe in Mary, Jesus, and Allah as 3 gods (S. 5:73-75 / 5:116). A random Muslim on the street is more knowledgeable about Christian beliefs than their "God" is.
