@YesMissMurphy If you want to close the deal, put it between their legs? Yeah, I'm no good at this.
English

@benjaminweston @notgregcoin @Keir_Starmer @England I imagine he plays football as well as he boxes. 🥊
English

What a game @England and what a winner.
Berlin here we come!
English

@SallyPa88561263 @notgregcoin @Keir_Starmer @England He literally plays every week and is an Arsenal season ticket holder. Have a day off FFS.

@TheHangedMan18 @dave43law @toryboypierce Do you have any idea how much it costs to deport someone? To do that to the tune of 10,000+ people — quite aside from being a logistical and resource nightmare — would cost inordinately more than keeping them in prison or early release for more minor offences.
English

@dave43law @toryboypierce You're right. They didn't. But that is not an answer to why Labour should not do it.
Labour repeatedly used the word "change" throughout the election process. To respond to a suggestion of how Labour could change something with "But the Tories didn't do it" makes no sense.
English

@MayerAgain @mrjamesob @UKLabour What an odd take. Tory economic policy for the entirety of the period you mention but somehow it's going to be worse under Labour even though the amount of millionaires and million-pound businesses grew under the last Labour government? Can you smell dogma?
English

@mrjamesob The continuing exodus from the UK — 16,500 millionaires left between 2017 and 2023 — is part of a global mass migration of the rich that appears to be accelerating.
Watch it accelerate rapidly under @UKLabour
English

@mrjamesob Yes James. Day 5 of your lot and already British business is quitting UK Plc.
And all you can say is "Oh."
English

@danny__kruger Glad you agree with Labour and not your own miserable party.
English

@MarinaPurkiss I really do hope their readers follow this and emigrate.
English

@Sandrajslater @MatthewStadlen His foreign secretary thinks men can have an cervix?????...
English

@Andrewmacker84 @MatthewStadlen Thank God we can ignore people like you for a few years now 🎉
English

@MatthewStadlen Regardless of how competent starmer comes across he’s still going to raise taxes, continue to let the boats come and not fix anything regarding the NHS
English

@afneil *By that logic, someone shouldn't be exempted from being Housing Minister if they were homeless in the past.
Fixed it for you.
English

@YesMissMurphy Yes, but struggling on account of the bottle of champagne that was consumed 10 seconds after the exit poll was announced.

@RyanMarkMac The UK inheritance tax is currently on a par with the US but countries like France and Japan have higher rates. Almost every country has some form of IHT because it's about the most effective method of preventing intergenerational wealth hoarding, which is a massive problem.
English

Brilliant analogy!
The Labour Party@UKLabour
Would you hire the builder who wrecked your kitchen to fix it?
English

@biggchris876 @PolitlcsUK @thetimes My daughter has autism and I find it quite ironic some jumped-up bigot with one tenth of her intelligence reckons she's a “vegetable”. Reform = vile.
English

🚨 NEW: Reform UK’s Chelmsford PPC, Darren Ingrouille, has referred to autistic people as “vegetables”
[@thetimes]
English

@bonker_99 @RishiSunak Why would I want a huge income tax cut when public services are on their knees? The IFS said Reform's economic plans “don't add up” with even the most “favourable assumptions”. They're a joke party of tin-pot fascists.
