It was a pleasure to visit @torfaenleisuret today to have such an interesting discussion with Chief Executive @benjeffreys & Head of Leisure Andy Robinson to hear their exciting plans for the future, and to see the great facilities on offer.

Back in 2012, a club united to achieve one goal. Promotion. Ten years later, @PontypoolRFC is back in the @IndigoPrem! The staff, squad, volunteers and Pooler Army have been incredible. Pooler is finally back where it belongs. It was an honour to be part of the journey. 🇾🇪

It was wonderful to watch @PontypoolRFC win the Championship Cup at @principalitysta today. The staff, coaches, squad, volunteers and Pooler Army have worked so hard this season and their success is fully deserved. They should be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved. 🇾🇪💪🏻

@apnightingale @pooler5 Thank you Andrew, I’m just a supporter these days but I’ll be there next week and I’m looking forward to watching the game alongside the Pooler Army. It’s an occasion that you all richly deserve to experience after all the support you’ve offered on this ten year journey!

Well 7 years ago almost to the day we walked away from todays ground gutted we blew our chance to get back up, knowing ring fencing would came in and we would have no chance to get back up for a prolonged period, @BenJeffreys and Peter could of walked away but they stayed 1/2

Some personal news! I’m delighted to have been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for @TorfaenLeisureT. I’m excited to be embarking on a new journey and I’m hugely grateful for this opportunity. I’m looking forward to joining the team and I can’t wait to get started!

It’s time to say goodbye to @PontypoolRFC. I’m grateful for all the kindness, patience and support I’ve received over the last ten years. Welsh rugby has been a big part of my life. I’ll miss it, but it’s time for a new challenge. Until next time, thank you for everything. 🇾🇪

I’m very saddened to learn of Eddie Butler’s passing. Eddie was a legend of Welsh rugby. He was also incredibly kind and a truly wonderful person. His loss will be felt deeply by everyone @PontypoolRFC. My thoughts are with Eddie’s wife, Sue, his family and many, many friends.

Pontypool have signed Ben Flower on what I understand is north of £20,000. Huge name in rugby league, and fans may recognise him from this rather unfortunate moment...
