2¹³⁶²⁷⁹⁸⁴¹−1, discovered today, is the largest known prime. It's a Mersenne prime (2ᵖ-1), which are easier to find.
It took nearly 6 years for the GIMPS software to find it after the previous largest known prime. It was also the first Mersenne prime found using GPUs.

In my brain, I lumped Merril Hoge in with Skip Bayless since they were both on First Take serving up piping hot takes that sounded crazy at the time.

Hoge nailed Manziel & Clowney but only gets his flowers with clips coming back up recently. This is one reason why some analysts on radio/tv/socials would rather shy away from honest assessments that flow against the narratives. They feel like the juice isn't worth the squeeze

@ColeJacksonFB I don’t know about that. Ravens added John Simpson and the Oregon kid who both seem better suited to power stuff. Who knows if they’ll make the roster, but those moves don’t indicate a major shift to zone. I expect plenty of duo at least.

@friscojosh Coaches and GMs are generally more concerned with hit/success rate and not enough with magnitude. It's probably a trickle down effect from the way they are evaluated. How many owners are patient enough to care about good process if the results don't pan out quickly?

@friscojosh In all fairness, anyone in any position of responsibility has abdicated any fault for the Brees decision and it hasn't hurt Saban's career ofc. And the '08 Fins ended up being a spunky fun WC team with Chad Pennington, Jake Long, and otherwise much the same roster as '07.
