@dillonthecoder @Zaconolive Dividends are the distribution of profit. Rewards for staking often involve minting additional tokens, increasing the total supply. If these new tokens aren't also locked, this could lead to an inflationary situation.

@Zaconolive I would say yes. Saw a great vid on how shares fall slightly before they issue a dividend in proportion to the dividend. So a divined is really like a forced withdrawal. Staking doesn’t have that problem in theory

Besides legally, are there any differences between dividend and staking?

There is no longer any circumstances of which are acceptable for an NFT project to launch in an undoxxed team format. Projects that do not Dox themselves do so for 2 main reasons 1. To avoid moral accountability 2. To avoid legal accountability
