@Coolness941 @ifiwerearoy This is one of the only rational comments I’ve seen. Thank you for that. There was something said at the awards, and there may well come an apology. But he had no control over what he said. The fact people think he’d just yell out that and ruin his life is baffling.

@ifiwerearoy He is disabled and I empathize with that. But that doesn’t make him bad. So, come out and apologize to denounce that. Also, this has to start some type of very uncomfortable dialogue because no one is an island. He lives in a world where he can’t and shouldn’t be isolated

The BAFTAs discourse is showing me that a lot of people don’t see slurs as a form of abuse. If you have a disorder or condition that causes you to harm others, you shouldn’t be in certain spaces. And it’s not ableist to say that. It’s about protecting everyone
