The ‘highly protected’ Langstone Harbour near Portsmouth received a total of 1068 hours of sewage discharges in 2022. It’s early February and so far it has received 619 hours in 2023.

A few days now of beach closures & still no word on what has happened along the south coast. Messages all over social media why would @EnvAgency suspend water quality monitoring following what appears to be a large sewage incident. One assumes a different monitoring starts?
