@bentleyberrier Valuation for TSLA and already have AMZN/ASML so trying to diversify industries. The thought experiment is equal weight, not necessarily force ranked

Vice President JD Vance: “My advice to young men who are thinking about becoming fathers who are about to have babies is, you're never ready” “It will be shocking. It will be crazy. It will be the most difficult and the most rewarding thing that you’ve ever done.” "I would do it all again; in fact, I have one regret, it's a slight regret. I wish we had started early and had more” Don’t wait until everything is “Perfect” to have kids. Children are what perfects life.

Thanks for the thought-provoking piece. My main critique is that you are overemphasizing flashy but low probability events like “left-handed bacteria,” while merely giving lip service to the risk of extreme economic concentration of power, which is very real and materializing as we speak. Anthropic is reportedly raising funds at a $350B valuation, and the wealth created thus far has been concentrated into a few hundred (perhaps more like dozens) high net worth individuals / institutions. It’s looking increasingly likely to me that none of the leading AI labs will IPO until they reach valuations in the trillions, at which point retail investors will finally be able to get shares. In order for retail to get a 100x return on these investments, which was achievable for Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, the valuations of the AI labs will need to reach hundreds of trillions of dollars, meaning it’s likely too late for a more equitable redistribution of wealth. Simply put, you are currently exacerbating the problem. The consequences of this are that voters may take matters into their own hands and push for either or both 1) more aggressive / nonsensical forms of redistribution — the CA Founders’ Tax is just the beginning or 2) a drastic knee-capping of the AI industry in America, which make the CCP dominance scenario more likely. The solution is to enable retail ownership now, increasing the number of Americans with economic exposure to Anthropic and other AI labs from hundreds of people to millions.

Based on everything I’ve seen, a simple recipe can work: focus on what’s in front of you, design great days to create a great life, and try not to make the same mistake twice. That’s it. If you really want extra credit, try not to be a dick, and you’ll be a Voltron-level superstar. The secret to winning any game lies in not trying too hard. Feeling as though you are trying too hard indicates that your priorities, technique, focus, or mindfulness is off. Take it as a cue to reset, not to double down. And take comfort in the fact that, whenever in doubt, the answer is probably hidden in plain sight. What would this look like if it were easy? In a world where nobody really knows anything, you have the incredible freedom to continually reinvent yourself and forge new paths, no matter how strange. Embrace your weird self. There is no one right answer . . . only better questions.

Arpan Gupta@arpangup

When Shohei Ohtani was a high school freshman, he created a detailed "dream sheet" with one central goal: to be the #1 draft pick for 8 NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) teams. It was a 64-cell roadmap based on a framework called the Harada Method. Here's exactly what Shohei did 👇 1. First, some history.... The Harada Method was created by Takashi Harada, a Japanese junior high track coach. He took a team ranked last out of 380 schools and, using his system, turned them into the #1 team in the region within 3 years. They held that top spot for the next 6 years. 2. You start by placing your main goal in the center of an 8x8 grid. For Ohtani, this was "be the #1 draft pick." 3. Next, you identify 8 critical supporting pillars needed to achieve that goal. These surround the main goal. Ohtani's 8 pillars were: • Body • Control • Sharpness • Speed • Pitch Variance • Personality • Karma/Luck • Mental Toughness 4. You then break down each of those 8 pillars into 8 smaller, actionable tasks or daily routines. This fills out the entire 64-cell grid, turning a massive dream into a concrete, daily action plan. To improve his karma, he listed tangible actions like: • Showing Respect to Umpires • Picking up trash • Being positive • Being someone people want to support 5. The method goes far deeper than just technical skills. It forces you to analyze your weaknesses and build confidence. It also has a highlight on service to others, emphasizing that humility and contributing to your community are essential for personal success. 6. The key to the system is daily execution and accountability. Once the 64-cell chart is complete, you turn the tasks and habits into a daily diary and a "Routine Check Sheet." It’s designed to transform abstract intentions into a measurable, daily practice.

💡 NYC🌆 land: $2.8T, rent: $67B/yr. Berkshire Hathaway🏰 1.1T, profit: $89B/yr. Owning a piece of a productive business beats owning land that just collects rent. I think it’s clear which is more valuable to co-own. 📈💰 #WealthBuilding #LongtermInvestment

Well, it's Saturday. A perfect moment to watch a robot giving you a new haircut, right? 💇🏼‍♂️ This robot created by Shane Wighton will not only do a great haircut or trim the sides but is also able to chat with you. During the pandemic, the creator of StuffMadeHere built this robot to give himself a haircut. It offers different types of hairstyles and uses scissors. Parts of the robot were printed using a 3D printer. Fantastic design, but further down the line I'm wondering if I'm brave enough to let the robot give me a trim. Probably not yet. I would like to know more details about the safety and reliability of the system. P.S. What are your honest thoughts on this project?
